Meeting on a weekday somehow made me even happier to see herㅜㅜ We talked about what to eat, got a craving for frozen pork belly, and decided that was the move!! Thin meat does not make you gain weight!!!! The selection of banchan (Korean side dishes) was pretty substantial too! More than anything, I love places that serve bracken fern, so just seeing it put me in a good mood for no reason, hahaha. I was starving and desperate to eat quickly, but it was so nice and easy having them grill it for us, hahaha. Meat always tastes better when someone else grills it...✨ Because naengsam is thin, it cooked almost immediately after hitting the grill, which was great, haha. Grilling it together with bean sprouts, cooked kimchi, and bracken fern was such a good match for the naengsam 🤤💕 A piece of naengsam topped with kimchi, bean sprouts, and bracken fern disappeared in no time. That meant every bite came with both egg and cheese, which I loved! With cheese in the soft steamed egg, it was absolutely perfect as a soju snack, hahaha. There was pepper set on the table by default, and seeing the reliable Ottogi pure black pepper there made me oddly even more satisfied, hahaha. It had been a while since I met up with my junior on a weekday evening, and we thoroughly enjoyed frozen pork belly with beer and soju. It is only about a 5-minute walk from Suwon Station, so the access was great too. If you are craving frozen pork belly near Suwon Station, I think it would be worth visiting at least once. I need to come back too—I have fallen for this place, haha. Next time, I want to try other menu items as well! I think it would be a good pick especially if you like a retro atmosphere or want a comfortable place for a group to eat meat.
