It had been a while since my last haircut, so I stopped by ONLY FOR YOU Hannam Main Branch, a hair salon in Hannam-dong.

I naturally have thick hair and my side hair tends to flare out, so I'd been getting down perms on the sides for years. But after doing that so consistently, my scalp seemed to be getting more sensitive, so this time I decided to try a cut only, without the down perm.

The salon is on the 3rd floor, and the moment I walked in I liked that the space felt bigger and more comfortable than I expected.

There's a section with floor-to-ceiling windows, so the lighting is great overall, and it felt more like a café than a typical hair salon.
