We were traveling around Gangneung, stopped by Ojukheon, and went looking for somewhere nearby to eat — that's how we ended up here! Traveling with a baby, taste matters but so does whether parking is easy and whether there's a baby chair — honestly those things end up mattering a lot. This place had both covered, so it worked well for a family meal. Especially recommended if you like grilled fish! The interior had plenty of seating too, felt quite spacious. With so many menu combinations for the full spread, it was hard to decide what to get. After some back and forth we ordered the reasonably priced Saimdang Han-sang set for 3. Oh, and with the Saimdang Han-sang you can choose either miyeok-guk (seaweed soup) or sundubu (soft tofu)! I went with sundubu. Here, between the rice, fish, and side dishes, it was easy to pick out things the baby could handle. The jeyuk-bokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork) was seasoned just right — the adults' pick! We've found that places with baby chairs make dining so much more comfortable. It's especially convenient if you're looking for somewhere to eat near Ojukheon, since it fits neatly into the route.
