The place is spacious and the tables are spread out generously, so we could eat quietly in a nice atmosphere. Plump shrimp topped it, and a deeply reduced shrimp sauce was the kicker of the whole dish! The legs were genuinely plump, and the moment you bit in, the juices (?) practically burst out. Not chewy at all, and the romesco sauce matched it perfectly. It came with various grilled vegetables and a clean tomato sauce! It felt a bit strongly seasoned, but I still enjoyed it a lot. Everyone knows how tender chicken thigh meat is, right? It melted in the mouth, haha. It matched so well with the yuzu ponzu sauce that it ate wonderfully refreshing. Personally, I loved that brightness, but I also found it even tastier dipping bits into the leftover romesco and bisque pasta sauces, haha. The three dishes that came before it all had fairly strong sauces, so the yuzu chicken thigh, eaten last, can end up tasting a bit weak by comparison. I'd recommend others eat the chicken thigh first. Or, like I did, you can dip it in the other sauces and enjoy it that way just as well. ## Wrapping up three months of wedding-invitation meetups And with that, this long, long series of wedding-invitation meetups has come to an end. Starting in July and running through September, I really went through so many of these gatherings. At first I searched extensively for where to hold them, and agonized over it a whole lot. Especially once I actually went through it — if you don't set a budget in advance, you really do end up spending a lot of money without thinking. So I started this series of wedding-invitation meetup posts hoping it might be even a little bit of help to the many soon-to-be-newlyweds out there weighing everything from venue choice to budget.
