## A jokbal restaurant open late in front of Sanghyeon Station Exit 2

Today I brought you a new Sanghyeon Station restaurant! A jokbal and bossam (boiled pork wraps) specialist had opened up. I kept passing by and thinking I should try Cheongdam Jokbal—and on this particular day, I was craving jokbal, so my husband and I headed over!

This Sanghyeon Station jokbal spot is right in front of Exit 2. It is seriously right by the station, so it is easy to find. ⭐️Hours are 11:30 a.m.–11:30 p.m.⭐️ Those are incredibly long hours, right? Takeout is ₩5,000 off‼️

Since it is a newly opened jokbal restaurant near Sanghyeon Station, the interior is clean. I visited around 5 p.m. for an early dinner, and before long it was bustling with people! Phone reservations are available too.

## Set 1 with regular jokbal and spicy jokbal

I went back and forth over what to get—I wanted regular jokbal but also spicy jokbal, so I ordered Set 1. The set lineup is great! There is also Set 2, which includes bossam. Switching to garlic bossam or jokbal is +₩2,000, and garlic bossam... ❤️ They also have sweet honey-garlic bossam and jokbal.

I ordered the medium set, and it was great for two adults to eat until full. I think the medium would be fine even if you came with a child! It came with the kimchi, radish kimchi, and wrap vegetables that jokbal cannot go without.

These dried radish strips were so good... They had just the right amount of spice and a nice crisp-chewy texture! Such a good match for jokbal.

They also give you soybean sprout soup, and its mild flavor makes it perfect alongside the meal. It was not overpowering, so it went down so easily. And the staff were incredibly warm, too.

## Chewy warm jokbal and gently spicy buljok

I ordered Set 1, which is warm jokbal plus buljok (spicy grilled jokbal). I wanted to clap for this set combination—it was so delicious. The skin on the regular jokbal was seriously pure chewiness.

Such a generous portion, right!! My husband and I ate until we were absolutely stuffed. If we had eaten just one kind, it might have felt a little lacking, but this combination was so good that we devoured it before we could get tired of it...❤️

This warm jokbal was totally my style. It was tender, with a chewy exterior, and had no unwanted meat smell. I am sensitive to meat odors, so I notice them right away—but there was none.

Cheongdam Jokbal near Sanghyeon Station says it uses 100% fresh domestic pork trotters, boils them in-store every day, and sells them the same day. Maybe that is why it tasted even better, hehe. Cheongdam Jokbal Sanghyeon also sells Slow Village distilled liquor!

This buljok was not very spicy—just pleasantly spicy? It had that fire-grilled flavor. It would have been a bit much if it were too hot, but it was mild enough for children to eat! And the firm-textured meat was no joke...

At first, I enjoyed it plain, without any sauce or vegetables, and thought, oh, this is good... My husband ate really well and said he wanted to come again. There were lots of people having drinks with their meal too, so I would recommend it for a Sanghyeon Station work dinner.

## Complimentary makguksu for dine-in

⭐️When you dine in, makguksu (cold buckwheat noodles) is complimentary!⭐️ Makguksu is essential with jokbal and bossam... I was going to order an extra serving, but it came as part of the meal—ahh!

I diligently made wraps too... It was a feast for both my mouth and my eyes. I also liked how neatly everything was set out! It looks like up to 10 people could dine together by joining two tables.

The makguksu was sweet and tangy, with moist seasoning, so later I was practically scooping it up... haha. The kimchi and dried radish strips were so tasty that I got refills and gobbled them up.

Cheongdam Jokbal Sanghyeon gives you seaweed-flake rice balls when you leave a receipt review!! Meat needs carbs, right... I think they would go so well together. The jokbal place that used to be near Sanghyeon Station had disappeared, so how could I not be happy that such a good restaurant opened right away!
