If parking is inconvenient when you are out with kids, things feel hectic from the start. The lot in front of this restaurant was really spacious, so we could park comfortably. The tables were not cramped together, and the large space seemed great for family gatherings as well as group meals. I thought it would also suit anyone looking for a Hwaseong City Hall or Namyang-eup team-dinner spot. Being able to see and select the meat ourselves before taking it to the table made it feel more trustworthy, and choosing was fun too. There was quite a variety, from beef rib meat and pork belly to pork neck and pork jowl, so we deliberated for a while. We chose beef rib meat and pork belly because we wanted to try both beef and pork at once. Next time, I definitely want to try the pork neck or jowl too. There were ingredients for making tacos, including tortillas, nacho chips, guacamole, and garlic dip. Putting meat, vegetables, and sauce into a tortilla while we ate was different and so delicious. I love tacos, so I especially liked this corner. I was oddly happy to see Jin Ramen, which I like, ready to use haha. The table was filled with muksabal (chilled acorn-jelly soup), scallion salad, lettuce, yukhoe (Korean beef tartare), and vegetables for grilling. The muksabal in particular was so cool, sweet, and tangy that it was perfect for a bite between pieces of meat. The stew here was truly delicious. The self-service bar had myeonginamul (pickled wild garlic leaves), scallion salad, napa cabbage kimchi, bracken fern, pickled radish wraps, lettuce, and more. Side dishes can run short when you are eating meat, so it was nice to take as much as we needed. It looked like takeout was available too, and I thought it would be nice to take home some meat next time. I loved how tender it was to chew. The pork belly was also savory from its fat while still clean-tasting, and the kids enjoyed it too.
