## A haejangguk restaurant with parking in Ingye-dong

The sign was easy to spot even from a distance, so finding it was no problem. I was excited to be able to try Jeju-famous haejangguk (hangover soup) right here in Suwon's Ingye-dong. 🙌

A lot of restaurants in Ingye-dong have difficult parking, so I especially loved that this great haejangguk spot lets you visit by car.

### A comfortable space for solo dining and a self-service bar

Inside, it had such a comfortable atmosphere that dining alone didn't feel awkward at all! Spacious and pleasant~

There was a separate self-service bar, and extra bowls of rice were free! Such welcome service for anyone who loves plenty of rice soaked in haejangguk broth. 🍚

You can comfortably get more of any side dishes you need from the self-service corner, without feeling self-conscious about it.

## Basic haejangguk and seasoned tripe salad together

For something to have with the haejangguk, I chose seasoned tripe salad. The tangy salad sounded like it would be such a good match between bites of hot, spicy haejangguk!

> Seasoned tripe salad ₩16,000

These are the basic side dishes! Add minced garlic to the haejangguk and the broth becomes even richer and more pungent. The kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi) was also great to nibble on in between.

### A generous basic haejangguk, from blood curd to glass noodles

As soon as the haejangguk arrived, I was surprised by how generous the portion was. Blood curd, bean sprouts, ugeoji (dried leafy greens), glass noodles, and meat filled the bowl to the brim. Just looking at it felt satisfying! 🤤

When I scooped some up with my spoon, there was plenty of meat too >< This wasn't a bowl with only lots of broth—it really felt like you got to eat the fillings properly, so ₩12,000 didn't feel wasted at all.

There were also more glass noodles than I expected, which I loved. The noodles soaked up the spicy broth and went down with such a slurp that I kept reaching for more.

With the haejangguk and side dishes laid out, a hearty table was complete! It is great for one person, but with the seasoned tripe salad too, it also makes a plentiful meal to share with a group.

The broth looked spicy just at a glance. It was peppery and rich, and every spoonful felt like it completely cleared me out. It is absolutely perfect haejangguk for Ingye-dong after a night of drinking. 🔥

After eating a fair amount of the fillings, I mixed rice into the soup. As the rich broth soaked into every grain, I was reminded that rice really is the proper finish to haejangguk, haha.

### Tangy, spicy seasoned tripe salad to wake up your appetite

The seasoned tripe salad comes with vegetables and chewy tripe together. Its tangy, spicy seasoning really woke up my appetite.

Having bites of the salad in between worked so well with the hot, spicy haejangguk because of the contrast. If you are visiting with several people, order one to share. ✨

The tripe retained its distinctive chewy texture, and there were plenty of vegetables, so it was not greasy. The table felt much more abundant than it would with haejangguk alone.

## Final thoughts on a spicy, hearty meal

We ordered plenty of haejangguk and seasoned tripe salad and had a proper feast. One bowl of basic haejangguk is filling on its own, but adding the tripe salad makes it even more plentiful.

Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch (제주은희네해장국 수원인계점) had generous amounts of blood curd, meat, bean sprouts, ugeoji, and glass noodles, plus a properly spicy broth that really did the job! The atmosphere is comfortable for solo dining, extra rice is free, and most importantly, parking is available in Ingye-dong—a rare perk. If you are looking for a spicy, hearty haejangguk meal in Ingye-dong, it is well worth a visit. 😋
