## In short

Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a haejangguk (hangover soup) and Jeju-style dombe pork restaurant a 3-minute walk from Exit 8 of Suwon City Hall Station in Ingye-dong. On a weekend visit just after 12, the order was haejangguk at 12,000 won and dombe pork (medium) at 24,000 won for 240g, and two diners finished three bowls of rice with the glass noodles and blood cubes packed into the broth. For a filling lunch with parking in Ingye-dong, the haejangguk and dombe pork combo at Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is the pairing to order.

I wanted a filling lunch near Suwon City Hall Station, so I went to Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch! I got to enjoy hot, spicy haejangguk (hangover soup) together with chewy Jeju-style dombe pork.

Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk is a 3-minute walk from Exit 8 of Suwon City Hall Station, so it's easy to get to by public transit.

🅿️ There's parking for about 10 cars in front and 15 in the underground lot, so driving there wasn't stressful either. Honestly, there aren't many restaurants with parking around Suwon City Hall Station in Ingye-dong, so having a lot was such a plus haha.

## Inside the restaurant: solo seats and high chairs for kids

The interior of Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch was overall spacious and clean. The tables had plenty of space between them, so it was comfortable to eat, and with seating from tables for one up to six, it's a good spot for both solo meals and group dinners. I visited past noon on a weekend, right in the lunch rush, and diners kept streaming in — mostly solo diners and couples, haha.

They also had high chairs, so it's a good place to visit with kids too. Besides the haejangguk menu, they also had Jeju-style hanchi mulhoe (cold raw squid soup), refreshing for summer 😮

## Menu and prices at Jeju Eunhuine, and what we ordered

The menu had haejangguk, tripe soup, and dombe pork, with side dishes like tripe salad and blood cube soup available on request. There was also a set menu of tripe salad plus dombe pork for ₩20,000, which made it easy to mix and match.

- Haejangguk ₩12,000
- Dombe pork (medium) ₩24,000

![Basic side dishes: chili peppers, minced garlic, ssamjang, and kkakdugi](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-city-hall-haejangguk-dombe-lunch/suwon-city-hall-haejangguk-dombe-lunch-10-1ih9a-900.webp)

You order through a tableside kiosk, and the basic side dishes are chili peppers, minced garlic, ssamjang (seasoned soybean paste), and kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi).

This kkakdugi was really, really good haha. Crunchy, of course, but also refreshing and sweet..! Eating it got my expectations up haha.

You can grab extra side dishes yourself from the self-serve bar! It was kept nice and clean too haha.

You tend to eat a lot of rice with soup dishes like haejangguk, right haha. At Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk, one extra bowl of rice is free when you order one meal per person! We ran out partway through and got another bowl haha.

![Haejangguk lunch spread served within 10 minutes](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-city-hall-haejangguk-dombe-lunch/suwon-city-hall-haejangguk-dombe-lunch-14-o7ows-900.webp)

The food came out in under 10 minutes! Isn't that perfect for busy office workers on a weekday lunch break haha. You could easily have lunch at Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk and still make it to a café afterward with time to spare haha.

![Haejangguk served bubbling in an earthenware pot, ₩12,000](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-city-hall-haejangguk-dombe-lunch/suwon-city-hall-haejangguk-dombe-lunch-15-8fm4q-900.webp)

## Haejangguk, 12,000 won: glass noodles and blood cubes to the brim

The restaurant's signature haejangguk arrived bubbling in a big earthenware pot! It was a hearty soup packed with meat and other ingredients.

![Haejangguk loaded with meat and toppings](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-city-hall-haejangguk-dombe-lunch/suwon-city-hall-haejangguk-dombe-lunch-16-1p6sw-900.webp)

Inside were tender meat, glass noodles, bean sprouts, blood cubes, and dried radish greens, all piled in generously! There was so much meat that the toppings alone could fill you up haha.

![Bean sprouts and dried radish greens in the haejangguk](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-city-hall-haejangguk-dombe-lunch/suwon-city-hall-haejangguk-dombe-lunch-17-m48k1-900.webp)

I especially love haejangguk with glass noodles in it, and the noodles here had soaked up the spicy broth perfectly, coming out moist and springy — there was a generous amount too, so I really enjoyed it.

And the blood cubes, which I wasn't expecting much from! They'd soaked up the broth all the way through, so they were delicious even on their own, springy in texture with zero gamey smell — I was really satisfied. Even people who love blood cubes would be happy with these.

The broth was really rich — made from ox bones simmered for 24 hours, so of course it went perfectly with rice! Clean yet spicy, we ended up polishing off three bowls of rice between the two of us 🍚🤍

## Dombe pork (medium), 24,000 won: 240g, enough for two

The portion was 240g, a good amount for two people to eat until they're full. Dombe pork is a Jeju-style pork dish — apparently 'dombe' means cutting board, hence the name dombe pork 😲

![Plate of dombe pork (medium), 240g](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-city-hall-haejangguk-dombe-lunch/suwon-city-hall-haejangguk-dombe-lunch-21-1hgb8-900.webp)

Can you tell how moist and tender it looks haha? The skin part was chewy, and the meat inside was really soft.

![Cross-section of dombe pork with the skin attached](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-city-hall-haejangguk-dombe-lunch/suwon-city-hall-haejangguk-dombe-lunch-22-ls40c-900.webp)

![Dombe pork dipped in salted shrimp](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-city-hall-haejangguk-dombe-lunch/suwon-city-hall-haejangguk-dombe-lunch-23-yn865-900.webp)

Eating it with the salted shrimp that came alongside made it taste even cleaner and more savory. The meat was so moist and tender that it barely needed any seasoning haha.

![Dombe pork wrapped in lettuce with chili and garlic](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-city-hall-haejangguk-dombe-lunch/suwon-city-hall-haejangguk-dombe-lunch-24-1v8gz-900.webp)

I also tried it wrapped with the lettuce, chili peppers, and garlic that came with it! You've got to wrap the meat, right haha. Ordering both dishes together, I personally felt glad we added dombe pork instead of just getting haejangguk alone! With the hot, hearty soup plus the tender meat, it made for a really satisfying lunch.
