## In short

Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a pork bone soup restaurant in Ingye-dong, Suwon. I had the regular-spicy ugeoji pork bone soup for brunch, with broth about as spicy as Shin Ramyun and meat that slipped easily from the bone. Verdict: a satisfying stop from easy parking to free ice cream.

We came out around 10:30 on a weekend morning to have breakfast and lunch in one.

The timing was a little awkward, so I wondered whether anywhere would be open, but we found this place in Ingye-dong! And it served pork bone hangover soup, one of our usual favorites 🥹

## A pork bone soup restaurant with easy parking in Ingye-dong

Whether we are going to Ingye-dong for hangover soup or dinner, parking is one thing that quietly takes some thought, right?

In Ingye-dong, driving often means having to find parking first, so it can make you wonder whether to bring the car at all.

Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk had parking in the building basement, with both B1 and B2 available. The spaces were fairly roomy too, so it was nice for visiting by car—and I also liked that parking was free for 2 hours.

## A spacious, clean interior and private rooms

Once we stepped inside, the restaurant was much bigger than expected. The tables were not packed together, and the overall feel was clean! I thought it would also be a good spot for anyone looking for a Korean meal to eat alone in Ingye-dong.

Best of all, for a pork bone soup place, it did not have an overwhelming food smell. Overall, very pleasant :) And I was surprised that it even had private rooms!

## Choosing regular-spicy ugeoji pork bone soup

![Menu with pork bone hot pot and pork bone udon](https://img.superchart.com/images/suwon-ingyedong-porkbone-soup/suwon-ingyedong-porkbone-soup-08-iudpu-900.webp)

The menu had everything from pork bone hot pot to hangover soup, and I was intrigued to see pork bone udon for the first time too. No hesitation—we picked ugeoji pork bone soup!

- Extra-spicy ₩13,000
- Spicy ₩12,000
- Regular-spicy/mild ₩11,000

I also liked that you could choose the spice level. We chose regular-spicy. After a short wait, the pork bone soup arrived piping hot in a ttukbaegi (earthenware pot)!

I tried the broth first, and it felt about as spicy as Shin Ramyun. It was not just hot for the sake of being hot—the spicy richness kept me reaching for another spoonful, so it was delicious without feeling heavy even for brunch.

The ugeoji (dried radish greens) was soft and delicious after soaking up the broth, so I kept alternating between the meat and the greens.

What I especially liked was the meat. Pork bone soup can get tiring to eat when the meat is tough or clings too tightly to the bone, but the meat here was really tender.

The meat came away from the bone very easily with chopsticks, which made it convenient to eat. I pulled off a big piece, dipped it in the sauce, then finished by mixing rice into the broth. When you want a filling Korean meal for one in Ingye-dong, is there really anything better than pork bone soup?

## Free ice cream after the meal

After you finish your meal, one last little happiness is waiting: free ice cream!

After filling up on spicy pork bone soup, having a cool Melona ice cream bar at the end was the perfect palate cleanser.

Anyone who likes spicy, hearty broth would be satisfied here. I think it will come to mind next time I am deciding on hangover soup for dinner in Ingye-dong.

We came for brunch, but as we ate, I thought it would be great to come back for dinner in Ingye-dong too. Especially on a day when you crave something spicy after work, a bowl of hangover soup in Ingye-dong would make a pretty hearty way to end the day!
