Not long ago, after a full day of playing at Lotte Water Park, we wrapped up the evening here with kalguksu, seafood pancake, and makgeolli — honestly the best. When you go out to eat and things are messy or the side dish area is cluttered, it kind of ruins the mood — but Seosan Dongjuk Kalguksu has staff constantly moving around keeping it spotless. I love that the moment you walk in it feels open and clean, and the self-serve bar is kept so tidy. I kept it standard and added minced chili from the self-serve bar when I wanted more heat. If you're visiting with a kid, you can order two bowls split into with-chili and without-chili. Whenever I visit with Nunu, they always bring out kids' dishware, seaweed, and rice for her~ The rice here is free too! It's genuinely delicious, so I scooped a big portion from the self-serve bar early on... and then went back for more ^^ Even though kimchi is available at the self-serve bar, the staff still kindly walk around with kimchi asking if you need more side dishes. For a glass of makgeolli, the staff bring over a kettle and pour it for you. I asked for a moderate amount, but they filled it right to the brim without holding back haha. At this rate isn't it less a glass and more a whole bottle lol. I'm into it though... thank you ^^ This makgeolli is unbelievably crisp and cold.
