## In short

Low Five Sinpung is a casual Italian restaurant on Sinpung-ro in Haenggung-dong, Suwon, serving wood-fired pizza and pasta. Arriving 10 minutes before the Monday opening meant a window bar seat for two, with a half-and-half pizza (corn/taco) at 27,000 won, vongole pasta at 18,000 won and Caesar salad at 12,000 won. Pre-tossed Caesar dressing, perfectly purged clams and a sunny seat by the glass made Low Five Sinpung an easy lunch for a pair.

## Why we arrived at Low Five Sinpung 10 minutes before Monday opening

Low Five Sinpung is an Italian restaurant on Sinpung-ro in Haenggung-dong, Suwon. I'd actually been here once before for a friend's wedding invitation gathering. It was so good that time that I came back for lunch with my boyfriend.

But the wait was long that time too. I'd heard the wait is crazy even on weekdays, so this time we hurried out. Arrived around 11:20 on a Monday. Opening is 11:30, so that's 10 minutes early.

![Waiting outside the restaurant before opening](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-02-pyse0-900.webp)

But one group was already waiting ahead of us. So it really is the pizza place everyone talks about in Haenggung-dong — the reputation isn't for nothing.

## Low Five Sinpung hours and where to park in Haenggung-dong

- Business name: Low Five Sinpung
- Address: 32 Sinpung-ro, 1st floor, Paldal-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do
- Hours: 11:30 - 21:00 (break time: 15:00 - 16:50)
- Regular closing day: Every Wednesday
- Number ticket distribution: 11:05 / 16:30
- Reservations: Not available (Catch Table waitlist only)
- Parking: Not available (use nearby public parking lots)

Let me compare two parking options. Jangan-dong public parking lot (where I parked) is 1 hour free, then ₩500 per 10 minutes, ₩10,000 daily max. Hwaseong Haenggung public parking lot is ₩900 for the first 30 minutes, then ₩400 per 10 minutes.

The Hwaseong Haenggung side is a bit pricey. Considering the wait too, the Jangan-dong side with its 1 free hour is much better.

### Low Five Sinpung closes on Wednesdays, not Mondays

Make sure to know this before you go. There are two Low Five branches in Haenggung-dong. One is closed on Tuesdays, and Low Five Sinpung is closed on Wednesdays.

So if you show up and it's closed, don't panic — just head to the other branch. Both are in Haenggung-dong so they're not far apart!!

## How the Catch Table waitlist works at Low Five Sinpung

As soon as we arrived, we put our name down on the Catch Table waitlist and looked at the menu.

![Low Five Sinpung menu board](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-03-112s2-900.webp)

![A page of the Low Five Sinpung menu](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-04-1ir81-900.webp)

For reference, I believe you can join the Catch Table waitlist remotely too. So put your name down before you even leave home. It makes a real difference compared to doing it after you arrive.

While we ate, I watched out the window. One person from each car would hop out first and run over, haha. The other person would park, while the first person ran to put their name on the waitlist. We both laughed watching that. That alone tells you how fierce the wait here is.

![Number ticket distribution and waitlist info](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-05-y67pv-900.webp)

Number tickets are handed out at 11:05 and 16:30. There's no reservation, only Catch Table waitlist registration, so timing your arrival around these hours is the surest bet.

## The window bar seats: best two seats in the house

![Interior seating at Low Five Sinpung](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-06-1hkvz-900.webp)

![European-style interior atmosphere of the restaurant](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-07-16u3k-900.webp)

Once you're inside, you can choose your seat — that is, when there's no wait.

![Window bar seats facing the full glass window](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-08-17uic-900.webp)

We picked the window bar seats. Why? Because the weather was insane.

It's a seat where you sit side by side facing a full glass window, looking outside while you eat. On a nice day, this spot is prime real estate. Sitting side by side turned out to be more comfortable and nicer than sitting face to face. If you're coming here for a date in Haenggung-dong, definitely aim for this seat.

![QR code ordering screen](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-10-1hs6x-900.webp)

Once seated, you order via QR code. There's a proper English version too, so it'd be great for coming with foreign friends. We ordered a half pizza (corn/taco) for 27,000 won, vongole pasta for 18,000 won, and Caesar salad for 12,000 won.

![Interior view resembling a European restaurant](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-11-jzuzk-900.webp)

![Restaurant atmosphere with a view outside the window](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-12-yiefz-900.webp)

Haha, look at this. It really feels like a genuine European restaurant. You open one door in an alley in Haenggung-dong and it feels like you've stepped into a different country. I've been to a lot of Italian restaurants in Haenggung-dong, but for atmosphere, this one is right up there.

## Caesar salad, 12,000 won: dressing already tossed through

![Caesar salad with the dressing already mixed in](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-13-6iaij-900.webp)
*Caesar salad (₩12,000)*

The Caesar salad (12,000 won) came out first. What I liked most was that the dressing isn't drizzled on top — it's already fully mixed in.

You know how it goes: try to mix a dressed-on-top salad on the plate, and it all slides and spills everywhere. So you end up with a soggy top and plain vegetables underneath. None of that here.

Even mixed, it still looked pretty. Easy to eat and good to look at. They gave us tongs too, so it was easy to serve ourselves.

## Vongole pasta, 18,000 won: not a grain of sand

![A plate of vongole pasta](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-14-onhje-900.webp)

Next up was the vongole pasta (18,000 won). It leans heavily toward aglio e olio style. The garlic aroma hits right away, and the oil clings nicely to the noodles.

![Vongole pasta loaded with clams](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-15-1oouu-900.webp)

There were a ton of clams in it — that was my favorite part. And the cleaning was really thorough. You know how biting into sand while eating vongole totally ruins the mood? Sometimes there's a bitter taste too. None of that here at all. Plenty of clams, and it was comfortable eating the whole way through.

![Separate plate for clam shells](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-16-vk95y-900.webp)

And thoughtfully, they gave us a separate plate for the clam shells. Without that, you never know where to put them.

## Taco pizza: does it really taste like a taco?

![Half-and-half pizza with corn and taco flavors](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-17-9es11-900.webp)

And finally, our pizza arrived. We ordered half-and-half, so we could try two flavors on one pie.

![Taco pizza topped with shrimp](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-18-890n0-900.webp)

![A slice of taco pizza](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-19-jp11e-900.webp)

We started with the taco pizza. It's loaded with shrimp — look at the biggest one!

There's chicken and various vegetables inside too. Take a bite and it's slightly spicy and really tastes like a taco. It's funny how eating pizza gives you taco flavor.

And the bread is delicious. Crispy. Plenty of pizza places nail the toppings but end up with a soggy crust — here, the dough itself is delicious. You end up eating all the way to the edge.

## Corn pizza: the half that won my boyfriend over

![Corn pizza piled high with corn](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-20-11p6b-900.webp)

![A slice of corn pizza](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-21-t0fa8-900.webp)

And then the corn pizza. What can I say. It feels like eating a pizza piled high with addictive stir-fried corn. Sweet, savory, and salty all at once.

There's parmesan cheese and hot sauce at the self-serve bar. Add those on top? Pure bliss. The parmesan adds saltiness, and the hot sauce cuts right through the richness.

We actually have a go-to corn pizza place we visit often. So I asked my boyfriend, 'How does this compare to that place?' He said it's a completely different type of food.

How can the same corn pizza taste this different and still both be delicious? I tried it myself and he was right. It's not that they're incomparable — comparing them just feels beside the point. If you're looking for pizza in Haenggung-dong and you like corn pizza, definitely try this one separately.

## Lunch for two lined up along the window at Low Five Sinpung

![Salad, pasta, and pizza lined up along the window](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-22-1d97w-1200.webp)

![Lunch spread at the sunny window bar seats](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-23-r4ldr-900.webp)

With all the food lined up along the window like this, it's magical. So glad we ordered both pasta and pizza!! Genuinely so good. Even two people eating three dishes felt just right. It's so good you can eat a lot!!!

Sitting at the sunny window with salad, pasta, and pizza lined up side by side, looking outside while eating — I wondered if I was dreaming. Haha.

This kind of ease on a weekday lunch. If you're figuring out a date course in Haenggung-dong, this window seat alone is the answer. It was such a happy, enjoyable lunch. Great for relaxing comfortably with my boyfriend.

![A fully packed restaurant interior](https://img.superchart.com/images/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch/lowfive-sinpung-window-bar-seat-lunch-24-4lqqd-900.webp)

On our way out, the restaurant was already fully packed!! A casual restaurant great for enjoying a variety of dishes together — Low Five! Highly recommend!

If you're looking for an Italian restaurant in Haenggung-dong, be ready for a wait. But do make sure to use the remote Catch Table waitlist and check the number ticket times. And avoid Wednesdays!
