It's apparently simmered directly for around 12 hours, and the broth was rich but never heavy, warming you up from the inside. It was the perfect way to finish after the grilled eel. Rather than just eating the grilled eel alone, having the hotpot rice and soup alongside made it a really filling, complete meal. When we eat out with our kid, whether there's a baby chair or not quietly matters a lot, and having one here made the meal much more comfortable. ## How to get there from Sangdong Station, and where to park Gochang Pungcheon Eel is located in the restaurant alley on the road behind Save Zone, just out of Exit 7/8 of Sangdong Station, so it wasn't hard to find at all, and with 2 hours of free parking at the same building's parking tower on floors 2–5, it was also convenient to visit by car. If you love eel, give the clean-tasting salt-grilled eel, the eel hotpot rice, and the Jangsu eel soup a proper try. Gochang Pungcheon Eel, the Sangdong Station eel spot that's held its ground for so long — you could really feel why.
