On a first visit, you might think, “Why eat tangsuyuk at an udon place...?” But personally, if you visit Kkang Udong, I really recommend ordering it at least once 🥢 Since the tangsuyuk usually comes with the sauce poured over it, we asked for the sauce separately! Its crisp fried coating made me want to eat it immediately while it was still hot! Dip it generously into the sweet-and-tangy tangsuyuk sauce, and the outside stays crisp while the meat inside is wonderfully tender. The meat was surprisingly soft, so I immediately understood why people say Kkang Udong’s handmade tangsuyuk is delicious. Maybe because it was extra-large, the generous portion was the first thing that really caught my eye. With toppings such as fried tofu and crown daisy over the udon, it looked like the kind of bowl that makes you want to slurp down the warm broth just by looking at it 🍜 For Geumjjoki, who isn’t great with spicy food, we chose the medium spice level for just the right amount of kick! If you’re looking for a Bangi-dong spot that can cover both a meal and drinks, Kkang Udong is worth putting on your list.
