On the way to my cousin's wife's apartment — she was giving away some baby clothes — I looked for somewhere nearby for lunch, and a Suwon grilled fish spot sounded perfect, so we decided on this place! Even just driving by, the huge parking lot was completely full, so I figured it had to be good... and yep, it really was. 🧡 Let me introduce it. ## Godeungeo Myeongpumi Doeda Suwon Branch: hours and parking Godeungeo Myeongpumi Doeda Suwon Branch is a grilled fish restaurant at 1731 Seobu-ro, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi, on the 1st floor. It's open daily 10:40–22:00 with last order at 20:50, and there's parking right in front. It's on the ground floor, and since we came at lunchtime, it was really busy! And you know a place is a real hidden gem when there are lots of older regulars — and there sure were! When I visited, I was 10th on the waitlist! I signed up around 12:39pm and waited about 10 minutes. The line moves fast and turnover is good, so that made it even better 👏🏻 There's a separate waiting area too! Once you're at the weaning-food stage, a microwave is essential, and this place has it covered. Every basic side dish was great, but the water parsley salad was so good I refilled it three times! I honestly can't even convey how good it was lol. The rice, the seaweed soup, the side dishes, the grilled mackerel — we cleaned everything out, seriously, seriously delicious! My husband said he'll probably be craving it again already. That's how good this Suwon grilled fish spot, Godeungeo Myeongpumi Doeda Suwon Branch, was — next time I want to bring the whole family along. And since they're apparently open as usual during Chuseok holidays, it'd be perfect for a family visit together!
