My boyfriend ordered the Jijon Jjamppong at hell level 2! That level is slightly milder than buldak (fire chicken) spice, but still spicy and sharp enough to suit his taste for hot food well! The broth was rich and soaked deeply into the noodles — genuinely so good. I wanted both jjajangmyeon and jjamppong, so I ordered jjamjjamyeon (a half-and-half of both) The jjamppong side of the jjamjjamyeon tasted just like the Jijon Jjamppong, and since I ordered hell level 1, it was moderately spicy and sharp — suited my taste perfectly!!! The jjamppong broth was so good that even though I was full, I found myself still scooping rice into it,,, that broth is seriously addictive.
