After several visits, I had two breads and pasta, then looked around its contrasting spaces and media art. It hasn’t been around for that long, either. When the Kazmi store across the road was newly built and moved to the other side, The Nillai café opened afterward. For about two years, when I was seriously camping two or three times a month, I used to come to the Kazmi store regularly to buy things and haul them home. I simply couldn’t pass by without going into the Kazmi store again. It had been a while, and Kazmi’s clothes had gotten cute. They don’t just have camping casual looks, you know? I want to visit the location that opened first, too, but that one is also in Gimpo. So there were lots of groups of ladies during the day… 🙃 They came for a meal, then had coffee and chatted up a storm…. There are lots of breads, plus plenty to eat such as pizza and pasta; the space is large, and you can see media art too. It feels like a swimming pool?? How should I put it? The atmosphere is nice here too! The Nillai feels like a café where several moods coexist. It has charm. The media-art space is great for photos. Isn’t it kind of amazing to have this in a café? It changes at different times. There was an even prettier one, but I couldn’t photograph it. From classic breads done right—croissants, chocolate croissants, mild soboro chestnut milk bread—to cakes, there was truly a huge variety. Decision paralysis hit; eating everything was… impossible, so I chose two. The sign saying it’s a good restaurant run by a former 63 Building chef! I actually didn’t know before. I’m the person who eats more than twice as much as my husband, haha. This quality at a café brunch? The cream was melting—it was so delicious, whatever kind of cream it was. ## A quiet no-kids zone and media art After eating, we took another lap around The Nillai! The café atmosphere is totally my taste.
