It sits right by two crosswalks, so it was easy to find, and I loved being able to walk to the beach after brunch. Rollmi looked pretty even from the outside, but I liked it even more once I stepped in. The framed art on the walls, the lighting, the tables and chairs — everything blended together so well that it almost felt like I was somewhere in America. It was clean but not cold, and the whole space felt well taken care of. What I remember most about Rollmi is the bread. A lot of brunch places just add a slice of plain bread as a side, but here the bread was clearly a cut above. There was a slice underneath the fried egg that was warm and moist, as if it had just come out of the oven. The outside was pleasantly crisp, the inside soft and moist, with a subtle hint of garlic. The ciabatta-style bread with shrimp in it was especially delicious. > "Wait, this place is actually great for bread?" — that's what I thought the moment I took a bite. I could tell right away why they're known for their baguettes and French toast. Honestly, it made me want to come back next time not just for brunch, but for the bread itself. ### Everything that comes on the Rollmi plate There's a really wide variety of ingredients on one plate. Grilled eggplant, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, carrots, sausage, plus chickpeas, apple, grapefruit, arugula salad, roasted sweet potato, and bacon cheese potato! It was so good I could have practically drunk it in one go, haha. Even the spoon had a little detail on it.
