I visited a retro-style brunch-and-dessert spot that fills you up while adding a little everyday breathing room. It was Eopcheonri382 Chungbuk National University Branch (읍천리382 충북대점), a café near Chungbuk National University where old-fashioned countryside warmth and modern sensibility blend beautifully! From poke salads packed with fresh ingredients to thick sandwiches and nostalgic grandma-style drinks that appeal to the “halmaenial” palate, it already has plenty of student and local fans. The self-service area I looked around after ordering was kept very clean. On a cute wood-style drawer cabinet were sanitized, neatly arranged forks and knives with wooden handles, plus tissues bearing the Eopcheonri logo.
