## In short

Hyeonseonine Premium IFC Mall Branch is a bunsik (Korean snack) restaurant in the underground passage of IFC Mall in Yeouido, Seoul, linked directly to Yeouido Station. Walking in at 3:30pm on a Saturday with no wait, the writer ordered the Hyeonseoni Combo for 25,000 won at medium spice, which brings tteokbokki, sundae (blood sausage) with organ meats, kkoma gimbap (mini seaweed rice rolls) and assorted fritters in one go. Hyeonseonine Premium is an easy place to taste several bunsik dishes at once when the weekend crowds at The Hyundai Seoul feel like too much.

## Where is Hyeonseonine Premium in the IFC Mall underground passage?

I was craving tteokbokki in Yeouido, so I went to Hyeonseonine Premium IFC Mall Branch. Around The Hyundai Seoul it's absolutely packed on weekends, and finding somewhere to eat can be a struggle — but this place is on the B1 level of IFC Mall, in the underground passage that connects to Yeouido Station, so it felt way more relaxed and easy than I expected. IFC Mall actually connects directly to Yeouido Station Exit 3 via an underground moving walkway, so it's pretty convenient to get to as well.

### Is there a wait at 3:30pm on a Saturday?

I visited around 3:30pm on a Saturday and got in with no wait at all. I was worried it'd be busy on a weekend afternoon, but it was more relaxed than I expected, which was nice. Hyeonseonine Premium has quite a lot of indoor seating, and there are also tables set up outside the store, so you can pick whichever vibe you're in the mood for. Looking at other reviews, it seems both indoor and outdoor seats are usually available, and afternoons in general are a fairly comfortable time to go.

## Hyeonseonine Premium IFC Mall Branch menu and prices

You order easily through a kiosk, and the menu had more variety than I expected — everything from basic bunsik dishes to full meals, instant tteokbokki, and set menus, so there's something for whatever you're in the mood for.

For à la carte, there's tteokbokki (stir-fried rice cakes) ₩6,000, sundae (blood sausage) ₩6,500, kkoma gimbap (mini seaweed rice rolls, 4 pieces) ₩5,000, assorted fried snacks (5 pieces) ₩6,000, and Busan-style long fish cake (4 pieces) ₩4,000. For meals, there's a tuna mayo rice bowl ₩6,000, chicken mayo rice bowl ₩7,000, ramyeon ₩4,500, spicy ramyeon ₩5,000, and cheese ramyeon ₩5,500.

If you want to try several dishes at once, there's a wide range of set menus too. The Hyeonseoni Baby Set is ₩32,000, the Hyeonseoni Combo Set is ₩25,000, the Hyeonseoni Set is ₩23,000, the Sunny Set is ₩18,000, and the Baby Set is ₩13,000 — all combinations of tteokbokki, sundae, fried snacks, and gimbap.

There's also an instant tteokbokki for 2 at ₩22,000 if you like it cooked at the table, with plenty of add-ins available like ramyeon noodles, fish cake, extra rice cake, vegetables, snow cheese, yakimandu (fried dumplings), and boiled egg. There's also an Instant Bear Set ₩34,000 and Instant Combo Set ₩38,000 that pair the instant option with a set menu, which seemed good for groups who want to pick and choose.

For drinks, there's Coolpis ₩1,500, soda ₩2,000, and for alcohol, draft beer ₩4,500. Overall, you can go simple with just tteokbokki, or go bigger with a set that includes sundae, gimbap, and fried snacks, all the way up to instant tteokbokki — the options were pretty varied.

## What comes in the 25,000-won Hyeonseoni Combo

What I ordered that day was the Hyeonseoni Combo for ₩25,000. It comes with

- ✔️ Tteokbokki
- ✔️ Sundae + organs
- ✔️ Kkoma gimbap
- ✔️ Assorted fried snacks
- ✔️ Cola or cider

So it's a set where you get to try several bunsik dishes all at once. Looking at the actual lineup, there are quite a few sets that let you enjoy tteokbokki, sundae, fried snacks, and kkoma gimbap together, which suits anyone who wants to eat a little of everything. When I pick dishes one by one on my own, I end up with way too much food — personally I much prefer ordering a set like this so I can taste a bit of everything.

![Tteokbokki ordered at medium spice at Hyeonseonine](https://img.superchart.com/images/yeouido-ifc-tteokbokki-combo-set-hyunsunine/yeouido-ifc-tteokbokki-combo-set-hyunsunine-13-q806e-900.webp)

### 🌶️ Tteokbokki ordered at medium spice

I ordered the tteokbokki at medium spice. I can handle spicy food and I like a bit of a kick, and medium spice was just mildly spicy, so it wasn't overwhelming at all. It wasn't just hot either — it was sweet and spicy at the same time, the kind of sauce that keeps you reaching for more! The rice cakes were chewy and well coated in sauce, tasty even on their own, and dipping the sundae or fried snacks into the tteokbokki sauce gave a whole different, delicious dimension. Other reviews of the medium spice option said it was 'just spicy enough,' and I'd personally agree — medium spice felt like the most comfortable level to enjoy this dish.

![Kkoma gimbap dipped into tteokbokki sauce](https://img.superchart.com/images/yeouido-ifc-tteokbokki-combo-set-hyunsunine/yeouido-ifc-tteokbokki-combo-set-hyunsunine-14-q9h5z-900.webp)

### 🍙 Kkoma gimbap: for anyone who likes bold flavors

The kkoma gimbap (mini seaweed rice rolls) turned out to be a bigger highlight than I expected. I usually prefer gimbap with more seasoning and bold flavor over plain, mild versions, and this kkoma gimbap was exactly my type. It was great dipped lightly in the tteokbokki sauce, and also fine eaten piece by piece on its own. Eating tteokbokki nonstop can get a little tiring after a while, so having the gimbap in between made for a nice combination.

![Assorted fried snacks with vegetable fritters, kimmari, and sweet potato](https://img.superchart.com/images/yeouido-ifc-tteokbokki-combo-set-hyunsunine/yeouido-ifc-tteokbokki-combo-set-hyunsunine-15-or6y3-900.webp)

### 🍤 Assorted fritters with plenty of variety

The fried snacks weren't just one type — there was a good mix of vegetable fritters, yakimandu (fried dumplings), squid, kimmari (seaweed-wrapped glass noodle rolls), and sweet potato. When I order assorted fried snacks, I much prefer having a variety rather than a pile of the same thing, so being able to pick one of each type was satisfying. And of course, the fried snacks were best dipped in the tteokbokki sauce — crispy fried snacks with that sweet-spicy sauce gave that classic bunsik-restaurant flavor.

![Plate of sundae with organs at Hyeonseonine](https://img.superchart.com/images/yeouido-ifc-tteokbokki-combo-set-hyunsunine/yeouido-ifc-tteokbokki-combo-set-hyunsunine-16-dmou3-900.webp)

### 🩸 Sundae with organ meats included

I liked that the sundae (blood sausage) came with organs included. I like eating organs along with sundae, so having a generous amount included was especially nice for me. It was more fun eating a variety rather than just sundae alone, being able to pick different parts to try. And dipping the sundae lightly into the tteokbokki sauce added that sweet-spicy touch that paired really well.

## 🪑 An unhurried weekend afternoon meal at IFC Mall

I visited around 3:30pm on a Saturday and there was no wait, with plenty of indoor seating left. What I especially liked was that there was ample seating outside the store as well as inside! The Hyundai Seoul gets truly crowded and hectic on weekends, but this place, even though it's in the same Yeouido area, felt relatively calm and relaxed by comparison.

So it's a good spot to stop by for a quick bunsik meal while shopping, or if you have plans in Yeouido and want something lighter than a heavy meal. It'd also be great to get it to go and take it to nearby Yeouido Hangang Park. Packing up tteokbokki with sundae, gimbap, and fried snacks to bring to the Han River side sounds like a perfect simple picnic. 🍙🌳 And since Yeouido Station connects underground all the way to IFC Mall, it's also a convenient option on rainy or bad-weather days.

## 💛 Final verdict on Hyeonseonine Premium IFC Mall Branch

Overall, this was a great place to visit when you want to try several bunsik dishes at once. The tteokbokki at medium spice suited my taste with its mild kick, and the kkoma gimbap was especially my kind of dish since I like bold flavors. The sundae was great with plenty of organs included, and the fried snacks had a satisfying variety — vegetable, yakimandu, squid, kimmari, and sweet potato — so it was fun picking one of each.

And if a place as crowded as The Hyundai feels like too much, but you're still looking for somewhere to eat bunsik in Yeouido, this is worth a stop! If you're after a comfortable bunsik restaurant in the underground passage of Yeouido's IFC Mall, I'd recommend Hyeonseonine Premium IFC Mall Branch. If you're like me and want to try a little of everything, going with a set menu instead of à la carte items is a good call. 😊
