Today I'm showing you Bongga Gukbap, a gukbap (rice and soup) spot in Geoje that I stopped at for brunch during a trip around Geoje Island. Having a hearty bowl of gukbap really hit the spot haha. Bongga Gukbap is located near Jukrim Port, so it's quieter than the downtown area, and there were about 5 parking spots in front of the store, so parking was easy! There were other customers on the other side so I only photographed this section, but there's plenty of room next door too. We hadn't ordered a separate bowl for my kid, but the portion was just right for a kid's gukbap! Wow... first of all, the broth had no funky smell at all, which I loved, and it was packed evenly with meat, sundae and intestines! I'm a real gukbap lover, but I can't handle it when there's a strong smell — this was clean and delicious with no funk at all haha. Even the side dishes were tasty one by one, so I left having had a properly satisfying, filling meal haha.
