And it's so close to Juan Station that transit riders can easily swing by on their way home from work too 💕

## The scene at 8:30pm

We arrived around 8:30pm for a late dinner, and the place was already completely packed with people enjoying a cool drink after work 😲 Luckily two seats had just opened up, so we dashed over and nicely snagged a nice, roomy spot lol. Just seeing how crowded it was told me right away this was a real Juan sundae soup hotspot worth finding 👏

### The self-bar where we refilled kkakdugi twice

The basic side dishes were kkakdugi, chives, and onion! If you run out during the meal, you can freely grab more from the self-bar 😲 Kkakdugi is an absolute must with gukbap, and it was so refreshing and tangy-sweet that we refilled it twice and cleaned every bit 🐷

The menu said the Spicy Jjopchang Sundaeguk I ordered is spicier than Shin Ramyun! The moment I took a sip, the sharp heat hitting my tongue felt like it blew all my stress away 🔥 Total sweet spot for me since I love spicy food, but be careful if you're not into spice, lol. And sundaeguk just isn't complete without perilla seeds and pepper >_< 💕

The stone pot was packed to an unbelievable degree with meat, sundae (blood sausage), and jjopchang! I had to start fishing pieces out before adding rice since it looked like it might overflow, lol

Dipping them in salt, there wasn't a hint of gaminess and they were so tender I couldn't stop reaching for more with my chopsticks 🥹 Paired with onion and ssamjang (dipping sauce), it was pure heaven...✨

The meat just kept coming no matter how much we ate, and by the time we finished the whole pot I nearly died from being so full ㅠㅠㅠ🥹 But it was too delicious to leave anything behind. Spicy gukbap topped with kkakdugi — how could that ever not be amazing ♥️
