I finally made it back to Anmin Gimhae, a spot well known as a Juchon, Gimhae favorite! There's always a wait whether it's a weekday or weekend, so this time I booked ahead 🙆

### Parking and the entrance

There's a big open lot right in front of the restaurant! If it's full, you can also park on the roadside just outside. Anmin Gimhae is on the second floor, so head in through this entrance.

## Table already set — I was customer number 74,459 today

Since we had a reservation, our table was already set when we arrived. I was the 74,459th customer today 🧚 Just imagine how many people have come through here... The clean table setting and side dishes already got a big pass from me.

### An atmosphere that doesn't cling to your clothes

There was bar-style seating by the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the interior itself felt upscale and calm. The inside isn't loud at all, and best of all — no meat smell whatsoever!! Perfect if you hate your clothes smelling of grilled meat, or if you're looking for a date spot in Gimhae..👍

### Every side dish is labeled

A whole spread of side dishes to enjoy with the meat..🤍 A lot of people get confused by what's what and end up skipping some, but here everything is clearly labeled right next to the sauces and banchan (side dishes), so I could really appreciate each flavor one by one. This kind of small thoughtfulness is exactly what makes you want to come back again and again ‼️

## What we ordered, and tablet ordering

The menu ranged widely from mains to sides — we went with the half whole pig set (₩39,500), a creamy draft beer, and Good Day soju! Every seat has its own tablet, so ordering anything extra was easy.

There were also non-alcoholic cocktails and highballs on the menu, so even with friends who don't drink, you could still have a nice atmosphere for a meal together🥹🤍

The cold draft beer that arrived first — everyone, just look at those bubbles rising. It was honestly smoother and colder than the beer I had in Japan..🍺 You have to try this one, no question.

The half whole pig menu comes with pork belly, pork neck, herbal pork skin, and a variety of vegetables 🐷

The ventilation system was excellent, and having a staff member grill it all so carefully really made us feel taken care of.

The visuals were insane.. 🙈 you could tell just by looking how juicy it was..🤍

### Kept warm to the end on a mini brazier

Once grilled, the meat was placed right in front of us on a mini brazier! Meat isn't as good once it goes cold, so being able to eat it warm all the way through is another perk of this Gimhae favorite ‼️

Wow, that golden-brown, perfectly grilled look. Pork neck can get dry if cooked 100% through, so they only cook it about 70–80% and check with you if that's okay. We were absolutely 👍👍👍 with it.

With meat and side dishes filling the whole table, the visual alone was on point🤤 The inside was so full of juice that one bite immediately brought out that savory meaty aroma. Paired with the grilled mushrooms and vegetables, the combo was great👍

### My top pick sauce: cheese fondue

I tried dipping in several different sauces, but my top pick was the cheese fondue sauce plus breadcrumbs🙆 Dip a piece in generously and it's savory and salty in the best way.

## Ending with soybean paste stew

For dessert we ordered the soybean paste stew, which you can request with or without chili depending on your taste — since it was just the two of us adults, we asked for it spicy with chili added. It was the perfect clean finish after all that meat.

I'd highly, highly recommend Anmin Gimhae as a Juchon, Gimhae meat restaurant — great for gatherings, dates, or going with family. There's a reason the famous places are famous.
