Even the utensils were wrapped, and this kind of small detail made me feel properly taken care of before the meal even started. Handmade sundubu hot pot + jeyuk (stir-fried pork) + braised mackerel + seasoned kkomak (cockles) + japchae (glass noodle stir-fry) + gondeurae namul rice + 4 side dishes + a seasonal side dish, which this time was fried eggplant! Isn't this a lot?? I love mixing and matching different dishes, so with this many options my eyes were spinning ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Every single dish in this 10-course lineup was excellent rice-thief material, but my personal favorite was the jeyuk-bokkeum! The smoky char flavor was incredible — my eyes lit up the moment it hit my mouth haha. The visual is insane ㅠㅠ Big clams, wood ear mushrooms, bean sprouts, and creamy handmade tofu — packed with ingredients perfect for curing a hangover. Following the guide printed on the table, I scooped up some fragrant gondeurae namul rice and mixed it right into the broth... oh man! The savory depth was incredible, deep and refreshing — it really cured my hangover!!!!! > Please try eating in the recommended order — it's mind-blowing..... I finished a whole bowl of rice just with the jeyuk, kkomak-jang, and sundubu... seriously ㅠㅠㅠ ### This visit's seasonal side dish: fried eggplant The plump fried eggplant that came as the seasonal side dish was also a total delicacy! Can you see how tender it is — it just falls apart with your chopsticks!?!? Dipped in the sauce, it was soft and savory, and I kept reaching for more without even realizing it. Apparently the seasonal side dish changes with the season! It'll be fun to keep wondering what this season's dish will be each time I visit. My friend and I raved over every single side dish and cleaned our plates completely. On the way out after paying, I popped one of the candies from the counter into my mouth and wrapped up the meal in a great mood!! ## Anyeosane Jecheol Hansang in one line A spicy sundubu hot pot that completely washes away last night's drinks, plus a smoky-charred jeyuk-bokkeum! If you're craving a proper, hearty home-cooked meal, head straight to Anyeosane Jecheol Hansang, a lunch spot in Sangnam-dong, Changwon.
