An alley by Gyeongui Line Forest Park between Daeheung and Gongdeok stations Quokka Bite sits between Daeheung and Gongdeok stations. It's easy to reach — just a small detour off Gyeongui Line Forest Park into the side alley. Walking there with the park scenery in view already puts me in a good mood, and walking back through the park afterward helps with digestion, which is probably why I keep coming out to Gyeongui Line Forest Park for meals. Le Cordon Bleu is one of the world's three great culinary schools, and it turns out Quokka Bite's burgers come from a chef with 10 years of experience who trained there before opening this shop. A sign read, "All menu items are cooked to order," and sure enough, right after ordering I could hear grilling sounds from the kitchen. It doesn't come out fast like fast food, but honestly, isn't that exactly why you go to a handmade burger place? The patty was thick, and the first bite was juicy, with a burst of grilled aroma.
