Honestly, when you hear "all-you-can-eat," you might worry a bit about the quality of the eel, right?! But at Songnim Bok Jangeo Seongsu Branch, the eel was in way better condition than I expected, so I was in a good mood right from the start 💗 The eel had plump flesh and looked really fresh! I'd actually eaten eel the day before too, and I thought I might be tired of it — but nope, not even close!!!!! Once it hit the grill, the eel meat was so substantial that it looked delicious just from the sight of it. ## Freshwater eel, pork belly and chicken neck, all unlimited What made this place special was that it wasn't just eel that was unlimited — pork belly and chicken neck meat were unlimited too. At first we put the eel and pork belly on the grill together, and as the eel turned golden and the pork belly sizzled away, the grill got really full haha. Grilling the eel until the outside was golden and the inside stayed moist made the meat soft and savory, and above all, even as an all-you-can-eat item, the eel itself was in great condition. Seriously top quality 👍 If you love eel, this is probably the part you care about most, and personally I was really satisfied with how good the eel was. The pork belly was also better than expected!!! So good. Instead of eating just eel the whole time, mixing in pork belly along the way let us enjoy different flavors, which was nice. After eating a good amount of pork belly, we went back to focusing on just the eel! Eel really does taste more savory when you eat it on its own rather than mixing it with other things haha. Best of all, if you run out, you can just order more, so there's no need to worry about portions — that's the beauty of all-you-can-eat. So if you're looking for unlimited eel in Seongsu-dong, this place is worth checking out. After eating plenty of eel, we finally grilled up some chicken neck meat. Honestly, I figured chicken neck would just be a light dish to finish off after the eel, but wow... the chicken neck meat was amazing too! Chewy with a satisfying bite, and paired with the seasoning and sides, I kept reaching for more. Even after eating my fill of eel, the chicken neck was so good I kept eating. Pork belly was delicious, chicken neck was delicious, and the star of the show, the eel, doesn't even need mentioning...
