There were wood-tone tables and brown chairs, with an overall clean and comfortable feel 😊 There were side-by-side window seats as well as several tables suitable for two to four people! The spacing between tables did not feel too cramped, so it was fine for dining with children too 💕 Best of all, high chairs were available 💛 Whether a restaurant has high chairs matters more than you might think when dining out with little ones, so this may be useful to know for families looking for somewhere to eat near Kkachisan Station! For rice bowls, they recommended not mixing everything from the start; instead, scoop up rice and toppings together, then add wasabi if you like. For ramen, they recommended eating it while it is hot! Being able to order several kinds of dishes at once was one of the strengths of Hekbap Kkachisan Branch 😊 It would be easy to put together a meal where parents choose rice bowls and children have tonkatsu or noodles, depending on what each family member wants! ## A set with both tonkotsu ramen and tonkatsu The first dish our family ordered was the tonkotsu ramen and tonkatsu set. The creamy tonkotsu pork-bone broth was topped with noodles, chashu, a soft-boiled egg, wood ear mushrooms, and scallions, so it looked quite generous too. The broth was rich and savory, lovely to eat warm, and the noodles and toppings made it a hearty meal :) It also came with crisp-fried tonkatsu, so it felt much more substantial than ramen alone! The tonkatsu arrived cut into easy-to-eat pieces, with a separate sauce. Especially when visiting with children, I thought it was a good combination: parents can eat the ramen while sharing the tonkatsu with the kids 💛 If you enjoy having a little of this and that rather than just one dish, this set is likely to be satisfying! ## Sweet and savory pork galbi marinade rice bowl set We also ordered the pork galbi marinade rice bowl set. A large bowl was generously topped with pork and vegetables coated in appetizing seasoning, plus shishito peppers and cherry tomatoes, so it looked delicious from the start. The slightly sweet and salty galbi marinade paired nicely with the rice, making it easy to scoop up rice and meat together! Rather than mixing it all from the beginning, eating a little rice and meat together at a time, as the restaurant suggested, made it easier to enjoy the individual flavors and textures 🧡 Since we ordered a set, it came with warm mini udon, a side dish, and banchan (Korean side dishes), making for quite a full spread! We did not need to worry that one menu item would not be enough—it was a satisfying choice for weekend lunch! ## What to keep in mind when visiting with children When eating out with children, flavor matters, but I also look at how varied the menu choices are 😊 I liked that Hekbap Kkachisan Branch lets you choose from many options in one place, including rice bowls, ramen, tonkatsu, and soba.
