It really felt like walking along the beach haha. It was so surprising. So nutty and savory. There was rice cake in it too, and it was chewy, and paired with the perfectly seasoned sauce it was ㅠㅠ better than tteokbokki (spicy rice cake), maybe?? So good. And there was a ton of gonyi (fish innards) too. Usually when you order angler fish stew, you get a little bit of fish and a pile of bean sprouts, but Haemokjeong Guwol Branch gives you plenty of boneless angler fish, plus roe and gonyi on top ㅠㅠㅠ Totally generous. Since it's all boneless, it's easy to eat and the portions are generous, the restaurant is spacious and clean, and the staff were kind with great service. I didn't need parking since transit was convenient, but they even support 2 hours of free parking — totally satisfied.
