The meat was a vivid red overall, with streaks of white fat marbling through it. The thinly sliced meat was piled up in layers, so it looked more generous than I expected, topped with a mountain of finely shredded green onion. The red of the meat against the green of the onion made for a pretty appetizing sight. We visited just before 5pm and got it by a hair — bread, sauce, and cheese to make our own bulgogi burger. Even though I was already completely full, it was the kind of thing that somehow still got eaten.
