When there are too many menu items it takes forever to decide, but here the menu wasn't too complicated, which I liked. Inside there was a map of Jeju hanging on the wall, and a dol hareubang (stone grandfather statue) at the entrance, so you could feel a bit of Jeju vibe without actually going there! Even though we visited late on a weekday evening, there were quite a few people eating. I saw solo diners as well as what looked like couples and married pairs. Free rice refills also caught my eye. Minced garlic on the side Soon after, the haejangguk and tripe soup arrived, and one interesting thing was that they served minced garlic separately~! The tripe soup I ordered came standard with a red broth base. Just from the color, I thought it would be spicy, but when I actually tasted it, it wasn't as spicy as I expected — just moderately spicy! The tripe itself had no off smell and was soft with a nicely chewy texture. Eating the broth and tripe together, I ended up finishing almost the whole bowl before I knew it~ I got quite full, so unfortunately I couldn't manage a separate bowl of rice.
