Tiny Dot in Michuhol, Incheon is a café I'd been curious about for ages. I'm a total matcha nerd, and I'd heard they make matcha latte with an actual stone mill, so I was dying to try it — but it's a bit far from my place so I kept putting it off. I recently had errands in Incheon, so I finally made it to this big Juan-area café. Turns out not just the stone-mill matcha latte but the coffee too was seriously good — here's my review of Tiny Dot in Hagik-dong.

## Is there parking at Tiny Dot?

Tiny Dot in Michuhol, Incheon is a large café with parking available — about 6 spots right in front of and beside the store, so it's easy to visit by car.

## A big Incheon café spread over four floors

Walking in, there's an order counter on the 1st floor — you order there and then head upstairs. The building has 4 floors total; floors 2 and 3 are open seating, while the 4th floor is reservation-only.

Tiny Dot also runs its own coffee roasting operation and roasts fresh every day, so the range of beans is impressively wide. Guatemala, Indonesia, Colombia, Ethiopia — even a coffee newbie like me could see there were tons of bean types on display.

The desserts are also handmade with quality ingredients — French gourmet butter, antibiotic-free eggs, and dairy cream — made and sold fresh daily. There's a good variety too, like salt bread, scones, and croffles.

## Stone-mill matcha and the deulkkae-dat menu at Tiny Dot

The main reason I wanted to visit Tiny Dot: their matcha latte made with an actual stone mill. A stone mill grinding matcha — how cool is that? I was dying to know how it tasted so I ordered it right away. Featuring Hadong matcha, it looks like they use Hadong-grown matcha.

It's not just stone-mill matcha — the coffee menu is also quite special, with items like chamkkae-dat (sesame), deulkkae-dat (perilla), and orange-dat that you don't often see at a typical café. I was curious about both the sesame and perilla versions, but ended up ordering the nutty deulkkae-dat.

The interior throughout the store has a strong roastery-café vibe, and once your order is ready you take it and head up via elevator.

Carrying a drink into an elevator can sometimes be awkward, but Tiny Dot has thoughtfully set up spots to rest your tray both beside and inside the elevator — such a considerate touch.

## What are the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor seats like?

This is the 2nd floor — it's actually a bigger space, but it was so crowded I couldn't get good photos.

The 3rd floor also has a spacious layout, with seats where you can sip coffee while looking out the window, and quite a lot of tables.

The 4th floor is a private, independent space that can be reserved for gatherings, family get-togethers, or seminars — if you want a more private setup, it's worth contacting them ahead of time.

The cream is genuinely delicious and nutty, and it paired really well with the subtle coffee aroma. The nutty cream and the coffee's flavor together made it instantly clear why this is the signature menu item.

### Stone-mill matcha latte, 6,000 won: rich, deep matcha

The one I was most curious about — matcha latte ground with a stone mill!! This genuinely wasn't just a regular matcha latte; the matcha flavor was so much deeper, and the not-too-sweet sweetness paired fantastically with matcha's bitterness. The matcha flavor itself was richer and deeper too — a completely satisfying pick, big win.

Drinks alone would've been a bit of a shame at Tiny Dot in Hagik-dong, so I also ordered a scone for dessert. It's made with gourmet butter so the buttery aroma is strong, and it comes with strawberry jam — good on its own paired with coffee, but also great dipped in the jam.

Tiny Dot, the big café in Juan, was somewhere I kept putting off visiting since it's a bit far from home — but after going, I immediately regretted not coming sooner. Great coffee, a pleasant space, and tasty desserts. If you're looking for a café in Michuhol or Hagik-dong, I recommend this coffee spot — Tiny Dot.
