Ahead of the Chuseok holiday, I was looking for a gift to bring when greeting my parents and found what may be Songdo’s hottest bakery! There are already so many great bakeries around Songdo Triple Street that I was overwhelmed, but the one I finally found was Tomoru Bakery, haha. It really does deserve its reputation as one of the best-known spots near Songdo Central Park!

## A warm, calm bakery atmosphere

Even from the exterior, it has that warm and cozy neighborhood-bakery feeling. The moment I stepped inside, I could immediately feel that it was an established place that puts real care into what it does.

I instantly felt, “This really is a professional bakery run by a master baker,” haha. What was especially nice was the ingredient information posted on the windows: domestically produced Maekseon organic flour, naturally fermented starter, AOP-certified butter, and antibiotic-free fertilized eggs. Just those details made the owner’s diligence come through.

The interior is mostly done in warm wood tones, so it feels very comfortable and calm. The breads were displayed so neatly that it inspired even more confidence. The staff were kind too; when I asked which breads were good, they explained each one in detail.

## Healthy breads and bold coffee for a Chuseok gift

What caught my attention was the sheer variety of breads! There were five or more kinds of salt bread alone, including pollock roe, garlic cheese, and bacon potato.

There was such a range, from basic sandwich loaves and health-focused breads to trendy chocolate baguettes and basil tomato breads. Since it was Chuseok, I focused on healthier breads for my parents. The healthy breads ranged from the ₩3,000s to the low ₩6,000s, which felt like such a good price. For premium ingredients, I thought it was an amazing deal, haha.

And above all, the bold iced Americano! I had a long drive ahead, and Tomoru’s Americano was strong enough to snap my sleepy eyes right open, haha. Bread made by a master baker and a bold Americano under the warm sunlight… it was honestly moving. Next time, I want to pair an iced Americano with a dessert bread piled high with cream.

## A great location to enjoy with Songdo Central Park

It is within a 10-minute walk from Exit 2 of Incheon National University Station. It is also about a 10-minute walk from Exit 4 of Central Park Station. With four hours of free parking in the building’s underground garage, it was convenient to visit by car too.

It is near Songdo Central Park, a well-known destination for bakery hopping, so it is a wonderful spot to buy bread, eat it in the park, and take photos!

Apparently, the sunlight is especially good from 9 to 11 a.m., which is when photos turn out best. There are outdoor tables too, so it was nice to sit down, relax, and have one or two pieces before leaving.

I took everything to go because it was for my parents, but next time I want to sit on the terrace and enjoy it at a slower pace.

## Holiday healthy-bread reservations and seasonal menus

During the Chuseok holiday season, I really recommend visiting Tomoru Bakery. Its healthy-bread selection is so well rounded. Breads made with wholesome ingredients such as kabocha squash, brown rice, rye, and figs make truly lovely Chuseok gifts.

According to a staff member, it is best to reserve in advance before the holiday. In winter, there are lots of cakes and special desserts for the Christmas season, while in summer, the refreshing baguette-and-drink combinations are said to be especially good.

- The bakery states that it uses domestically produced Maekseon organic flour, natural starter, AOP-certified butter, and antibiotic-free fertilized eggs; it says no artificial additives are used and dough is aged at low temperature for at least 18 hours.

## Stop by after a Central Park stroll

After taking in the views on a walk around Songdo Central Park, stopping at Tomoru Bakery on the way back to buy bread and eat it on a park bench was just perfect! It is also fun to drop in leisurely after shopping at Triple Street and choose some bread.

The walking path near the Korea Coast Guard headquarters is pretty too, and on a nice day I also recommend checking out the galleries or cafés near Incheon National University Station. It is such a great location for a picnic at Central Park.

It had it all: premium ingredients, carefully made flavors, reasonable prices, and friendly service. It is great for a Chuseok gift, a date, or simply enjoying some quiet time alone—a Songdo bakery for all of it. Next time, I want to take it slow with a cream-filled dessert bread and a bold Americano, haha.
