## In short

Naple Hair Juan Seokbawi Intersection Branch is a hair salon in Michuhol, Incheon, offering root color and hair treatments. After a consultation for bleached, permed hair, I chose root color, a premium treatment, and a fringe trim instead of another perm. Verdict: the careful consultation made the brighter color look naturally polished.

I wanted to make a real change to my hair, so I visited Naple Hair Juan Seokbawi Intersection Branch in Juan. My hair was in quite a state, haha.

My hair is very long, with a little old bleach left in it, a couple of dye jobs after that, and even remnants of a hippie perm. My plan that day was very clear: cut it a little shorter and get a new perm! But after the stylist carefully examined my hair and we talked, I ended up choosing a completely different direction from what I had imagined.

In the end, rather than a perm and a major cut, I got root color, a premium treatment, and a fringe trim that day.

## A bright white hair salon with café-like vibes

> It is a Juan hair salon, but it feels like a café the moment you walk in

That was my first thought as I entered Naple Hair: “Is this really a hair salon? It feels like a café!” haha. The overall white palette made it very bright and neat, while all the plants around the space kept it from feeling cold.

![Salon space combining white tones and plants](https://img.superchart.com/images/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair-05-zju4x-900.webp)

I visited during the day, and sunlight poured in beautifully through the large windows.

![White-toned hair salon interior filled with natural light](https://img.superchart.com/images/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair-06-ub4kg-900.webp)

With natural light streaming into the white space and all that greenery, it genuinely felt like sitting in a pretty café. You spend quite a while at the salon on hair day, right? I quietly care about the atmosphere too, and Naple Hair felt bright, open, and comfortable even for a long visit.

## Menu prices and visit benefits

> I photographed the menu board for anyone curious about the prices

![Hair service menu board displayed at the entrance](https://img.superchart.com/images/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair-07-185fi-900.webp)

![In-salon notice board listing prices by service](https://img.superchart.com/images/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair-08-swcsd-900.webp)

Prices for each service were displayed in detail right from the entrance, so even first-time visitors could get a sense of the expected cost.

![Root color and treatment price information](https://img.superchart.com/images/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair-09-5b4qa-900.webp)

I visited in September 2026. Root color was listed at ₩60,000 for basic and ₩80,000 for premium, with discounted prices shown separately. Treatments were ₩60,000 for the set treatment, ₩90,000 for the premium treatment, and ₩139,000–₩159,000 for the Nano Hill treatment. The premium root color + premium treatment set, similar to what I chose, had a regular price of ₩170,000 and a listed discounted price of ₩119,000. Prices and promotions may change, so check the booking page or salon again before visiting.

> There were benefits to look into, from a first visit to review rewards

![Sign explaining first-visit and review benefits](https://img.superchart.com/images/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair-10-9chx1-900.webp)

There were quite a few benefits listed beside the menu too. First-time visitors could receive a free lucky four-leaf clover, and you can get an additional 5% discount by posting a photo review and paying with Naver Pay.

![Naple Points earning information](https://img.superchart.com/images/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair-11-y8llu-900.webp)

They also operated Naple Points. Based on the notice when I visited, cash payments earned 5% and card payments earned 3%, and accumulated points could be used in ₩10,000 increments. If you become a regular, paying with points is quietly useful, right? :)

![Salon notice about a next-visit coupon](https://img.superchart.com/images/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair-12-373m2-900.webp)

There was also a ₩10,000 coupon for the next visit, so make good use of it :) Each coupon has its own validity period and conditions, so save it and check before your next visit, okay? ^^

## Why I chose root color instead of a perm

> But I originally came here for a perm…?

![Hair with bleach history before the perm consultation](https://img.superchart.com/images/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair-13-yn4tc-900.webp)
*BEFORE, once again.. haha*

Back to my hair story. I truly wanted to cut it short and add new curls that day. But the stylist looked through my hair strand by strand and said that a considerable amount of the bleached sections remained. Another perm at this point would make it difficult to get the shape I wanted, and those bleached areas in particular could be seriously damaged. In severe cases, the bleached parts could be damaged to the point of almost burning.... haha. The moment I heard that, I thought, “Ah… I should not push it.”

![Consultation examining hair condition before a perm](https://img.superchart.com/images/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair-14-1g7l0-900.webp)

To properly change to the style I wanted, my hair would need to grow enough that I could cut away the bleached sections, and the stylist recommended growing it for at least another 6 to 10 months. Honestly, I was disappointed for a moment. I had already gone there picturing myself with short hair, haha. But this was actually what I liked: rather than simply doing what I asked, the stylist clearly explained what was possible with my hair now, what would be better to avoid, and how I could work toward the hairstyle I wanted.

> It is almost embarrassing to call this root color, haha

![Long grown-out roots and light-colored long hair](https://img.superchart.com/images/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair-15-bbqqw-900.webp)

So I put aside my perm ambitions for a while and chose root color + a premium treatment. But honestly, looking at my hair, it is almost embarrassing to call it “roots.” I had gone far too long without visiting a salon. Hahahaha. Roots grow so fast..... Isn’t this much growth practically instant..? (It is not just me, right...? haha)

![Hair tidied into a light tone after root color](https://img.superchart.com/images/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair-16-15lv8-900.webp)
*AFTER*

There is a reason I keep my hair light. As I have gotten older, I have had so, so much more gray hair. A few strands would be one thing, but once there was quite a lot coming in, it started to stress me out. Still, I did not want to cover it all with jet-black gray coverage. Keeping my hair light overall makes the contrast between new gray growth and my existing hair less noticeable, so I have continued with a lighter tone. The problem is that I cannot make it to the salon on time, haha. Every time I think, “More gray hair is coming in; I need to sort out my roots…,” but between managing the kids’ schedules, feeding them, and doing everything else, the day just flies by. The reality of being busy caring for the kids outweighs my concern about gray hair. Haha. So this time, rather than changing to a new color, we aimed to blend as naturally as possible into the light tone I already had.

## Root touch-up that naturally blended into my light tone

> Matching one hair tone made me look so much more polished

![Roots naturally blended into the existing light tone](https://img.superchart.com/images/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair-17-z4vpq-900.webp)

When I looked in the mirror afterward, I was reminded how powerful a root touch-up can be. I had not cut off much length or changed to a completely new color, but once the dark growth and gray hairs were covered, everything looked much neater. It blended naturally into my existing light hair, and somehow even the area around my face looked brighter. If you have lots of gray hair like me but do not want to cover it with dark color, it may be worth talking through how to connect it naturally with the lighter tone you already have instead of automatically going dark.

## A premium treatment for long, damaged hair

> A premium treatment for long hair that survived bleach, dye, and a hippie perm

My hair is not just long hair. It has been bleached, dyed, and given a hippie perm…. From my hair’s perspective, it has been through a lot, haha. It felt quite dry and rougher toward the ends. Those ends were actually one reason I had wanted to cut it all off. So I added the premium treatment that day too.

Even the shampoo area was full of mood, haha. The treatment took quite a while. I closed my eyes to rest, and why did I get so sleepy..... haha.

I went in determined to cut it, but at the same time, I felt a little sad about chopping off hair I had grown for so long. Then, once the texture was tidied up, my long hair suddenly looked pretty again. Haha. “Okay, I can grow it a little longer.” So I changed my mind again.

## A little mood change with a fringe trim

> A mood change through my fringe at least! I barely resisted getting choppy bangs, haha

![Fringe trimmed to eyebrow length](https://img.superchart.com/images/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair-18-fe7h3-900.webp)

Since I could not get a perm or cut much length, I still wanted some kind of change. So I decided to bring back the fringe that had grown so long I had forgotten it had ever been a fringe. I briefly said, “Should I just go for choppy bangs?” and the stylist talked me down appropriately. Hahahaha. We ended up trimming them nicely to eyebrow length, and seeing the result, I thought it was really, really good that I had not gone shorter. The stylist considered both my face shape and the feel of my current long hair when choosing the length, so it suited me much more naturally.

## A shop that helps save children

One more thing caught my eye while I was taking photos around the salon: a Save the Children sign for its “Shop That Saves Children” program. Naple Hair says it continues the small practice of donating ₩100 every time a customer visits. There was even a donation box at the counter with actual coins collected inside.

![Donation information for the Shop That Saves Children program](https://img.superchart.com/images/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair-19-1qh3d-900.webp)

As someone raising children too, I naturally took another look at this. Each amount may seem small, but it felt meaningful that it keeps adding up with every customer visit.

## Naple Hair Juan Seokbawi Intersection Branch location and parking

Naple Hair Juan Seokbawi Intersection Branch is near Seokbawi Market Station, making it a decent location to reach by public transport, and parking is available too :)

## Looking at hair condition before the desired style

> It is important to look at your hair’s condition first, rather than insist on the style you want

![Long hair tidied after the hair-condition consultation](https://img.superchart.com/images/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair-21-1wim5-900.webp)

Before going to Naple Hair, a Michuhol hair salon, I had simply thought, “I need to change my hair dramatically!” But after checking my hair condition carefully and talking thoroughly with the stylist, I realized that caring for my current hair so I can properly get the style I want later may need to come before creating a new style right now. If I had gone ahead with the perm just because I wanted it, the bleached sections could have been badly damaged. Once I heard why it was better to avoid it for now, I could let go of that desire. In the end, there was no dramatic length change and no new perm, but matching my overgrown roots to the existing light color, calming my rough long hair, and bringing back my fringe made a bigger difference than I expected.

![Change in long hair after tidying the roots and fringe](https://img.superchart.com/images/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair/juan-root-color-care-neiplhair-22-1nfbh-900.webp)

And looking at my shiny, swishy long hair…. the catch is that suddenly it feels too precious to cut again. Haha. For now, I will take good care of it and grow it for another 6 to 10 months, then properly try a new style once I can cut away enough of the bleached sections. But the roots…. This time, please let me go back before they grow out this much. Though a mom raising kids does not always get to follow her plans, haha.
