We ordered the set meal (₩14,000), which comes with sundae-guk, pyeonyuk (sliced pressed pork), and chal sundae (chewy glutinous-rice blood sausage), as well as samgyetang (₩16,000). Even if the gukbap is delicious, bad kimchi quietly knocks points off for me personally... but the kimchi here was so!!! good!! 🫢 It was refreshing yet nicely spicy, and a bite of kimchi after a spoonful of gukbap went incredibly well together. My husband hasn’t been feeling well latelyㅠㅠ, so I wanted to give him something restorative—and he said it really did the job, hahaha. I had heard it was famous in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, and was curious just how good it could be, but after trying it myself, I can see why it is popular.. If you love sundae-guk, I think it’s worth visiting at least once.
