They set up a tasting table right outside the shop so you can try several kinds of oranda before deciding, which means there's basically no way to pick wrong. I got to sample the plain oranda, the nut oranda, and the mareung (garlic), and the mareung completely won me over. You know how it is when you're heading home after a Jeju trip and agonizing over gifts — something too cheap feels awkward, but something pricey feels like a burden. This is exactly the kind of tasty, good-value snack to bring home for family and friends. As you eat, you peel off layer by layer, which was totally satisfying! With three layers stacked, the value for money is pretty great, haha.
