I met my all-time favorite meljorim here. It was easily number one among all the meljeot (sand-eel fish sauce) and meljorim I have tried, and my husband raved that it reminded him of the black pork he had at Heukdonga before and was really delicious. It was bold and totally addictive—there could hardly be a better drinking snack. The soft, nutty bomb cheese steamed egg was also excellent, and our 21-month-old quickly finished rice with Nanchuk Matdon, steamed egg, and seaweed, making this a really great place to visit with a baby too. ## The difference staff grilling makes This visit reminded me once again how much a grilling service can affect the flavor of meat. The first batch was grilled like art by the staff member, and when we tried grilling some ourselves later, the difference in taste was obvious! The staff member was so skilled that I would want to add the grilling option even if it cost extra. I wholeheartedly recommend the deeply savory, juicy Nanchuk Matdon as an essential order.
