It's located right in front of Handam Beach in Aewol, close to Gwakji Beach and Aewol Port too. Since it's usually a wait-list restaurant, there's a separate waiting area set up inside a tent. Is this really the view from a pork noodle restaurant????? And the mala pork noodles!!! The kimchi's color alone says it all. For a noodle restaurant, kimchi is really important, and this one is great. The radish pickle has a nice crunchy texture, and with chili added it's spicy too — totally my style~ Both are so tasty! But it's not funky in a heavy way at all — actually pretty clean. And the bean sprouts are seriously the kicker! Pork broth soups can get a little greasy, but the bean sprouts cut right through it, so the balance is really good. The noodles were exactly the kind I like — a bit thin. Thicker than somyeon~ the strands were soft and chewy, cooked just right. Total slurp fest. I think it's my first time having tteokgalbi in Jeju, and it was so good..? Really juicy, delicious handmade tteokgalbi. The sweet-and-tangy bibim noodles were great too, and I'm really curious about the mala pork noodles.. if I get to go again, I'll definitely try it.. Plus the view is amazing, so this really feels like the Jeju pork noodle restaurant.
