Omegi-tteok makes a great Jeju souvenir and an easy, no-pressure gift for parents 💛 so I packed some up and brought it home. Since omegi-tteok needs to be kept frozen, I'd recommend picking it up on your last day in Jeju rather than carrying it around during the trip. Officially there's no parking, but I was able to park briefly in the space in front of the shop for a quick visit. ## What kinds of rice cakes are in the shop As soon as you walk in, you see all sorts of rice cakes on display. Mugwort-base rice cake + red bean + soybean powder — that combo can't miss. ### Hanul's mom's pick! 🌟 Red bean omegi-tteok My mom said the classic is always the best and picked the plain red bean omegi-tteok. Second place was black sesame, she said hahaha. She also said the tangerine omegi-tteok felt special with its tangy flavor.
