I've been really stressed about my hair lately. Two months ago I went to a salon wanting a perm, but they told me my hair was too damaged from frequent dyeing to do it. T.T

So that day I ended up cutting my long hair into a bob. About a month later I tried a clinic treatment once, and it seemed fine at first, but over time my hair got dry and frizzy again.

So this time I wanted to get a proper clinic treatment, and after some searching I visited Beorn Hair Cheongdam, a hair salon near Gangnam-gu Office Station. The treatment I got was the inner keratin clinic.

## Where is Beorn Hair Cheongdam, near Gangnam-gu Office Station?

Beorn Hair Cheongdam was easy enough to find from Gangnam-gu Office Station. Since it's a salon in Cheongdam-dong I was a little nervous, but once I actually visited it felt comfortable and easy to relax in rather than intimidating. My hair was so damaged this time that I came purely for the clinic treatment, not a cut or perm.

Everything was well organized overall and the space didn't feel stuffy, which I liked. With a clinic treatment you're sitting there for over an hour, right? So the atmosphere of the salon quietly matters to me too — it was nice to be able to relax comfortably while getting treated. That day I was treated by designer Ko Do-hee.

## Hair consultation: why does hair go dry again so soon after a clinic treatment?

Before the clinic treatment, she checked the condition of my hair first, and as expected, she said it was extremely dry.

She said there was also a serious lack of nutrients inside the hair strands. But the way she explained it was really easy to understand. She said my hair right now was like dried-out ground.

If the ground is already bone dry and you only water it once every month or two, it's only okay right when you water it and dries out again fast. So instead of getting a clinic treatment sporadically once a month or two, she recommended three intensive sessions three weeks apart. She said if you fill it up with nutrients thoroughly at first, the hair will gradually stabilize afterward — and hearing that explained exactly why my hair had gone frizzy again so quickly after my last clinic treatment.

## How the inner keratin clinic works, step by step

The inner keratin clinic wasn't just one product applied once — it went through several stages.

She said this step helps the keratin protein penetrate deep into the hair.

### Step 4: NMF moisture replenishment

Since my hair is so dry, this was the step I was personally most looking forward to. She said it fills the dry inner hair with moisture and builds a basic foundation. After that came

### Step 6: CMC replenishment

Finally, they finished with protective coating reinforcement — a step that smooths out cracked, lifted cuticles while adding shine and firmness.

## How the hair felt after the keratin clinic

After everything was done, I touched my hair, and the first thing I noticed was that it was definitely softer.

The ends used to feel dry and stiff, but after the clinic treatment everything felt calmer and more settled overall.
