Stepping inside, unlike a typical gukbap restaurant, the modern, clean white-toned interior caught my eye right away.

I was also really impressed that they had free photo cards on display in one corner! Rather than just finishing your meal and leaving, it felt special being able to take home a little souvenir too. You could even jot down a short message and stick it up in the shop, so there's a bit of fun in leaving a memory behind!

Looking at the menu, the lineup was really varied — hearty sundubu gukbap (soft tofu soup with rice), spicy hangover soup, rich hanwoo bone soup, house-made pork cutlet, and more! We ordered one ox-head gukbap (clear soup) at ₩12,000 and one hanwoo bone soup at ₩12,000 (₩24,000 total)

## How do the ox-head gomtang and hanwoo bone gomtang taste?

Not long after ordering, our table filled up: two bowls of milky-white soup, rice, and neatly arranged side dishes — kimchi, diced radish kimchi, and fresh chive salad!

Chili seasoning (dadegi), salt, and pepper were served on the side, so I could taste as I went and adjust the seasoning to my liking.

The milky, rich broth hit heavy from the very first spoonful! It had that deep flavor you only get from a long simmer, yet it went down clean without feeling greasy. The bowl was loaded with noodles and thick slices of meat, which was really satisfying, and there was no gamey smell at all, so I happily finished it down to the last drop.
