Hekbap is a place I order delivery from often and also visit now and then since it's near Kkachisan Station ❤︎ The space is spacious and comfortable, with tables set nicely apart.

You pull the utensils out of the table drawer yourself, and both the chopsticks and spoon come wrapped hygienically in paper, so no dust gets on them — I loved this clean touch 🤍

The long shishito peppers on top as a topping — I usually don't eat peppers, but these were grilled so they weren't spicy and went down soft, making them great with rice.

It adds a tingling kick to the meat, cuts the richness, and makes it even more delicious.

There are tiny mushrooms and grilled scallions mixed in among the ribs too, and they go perfectly with the seasoned ribs. I also piled on plenty of the tangy pickled radish side.

## Pork jowl rice bowl set with udon and clear soup

This is the pork jowl rice bowl set. The pork jowl is spicy-sweet seasoned, and the pork rib is sweet-salty seasoned — switching back and forth between the two rice bowls was really appealing.

The pork jowl is chewy yet savory, and the meat quality is good with no gamey smell. This spicy-sweet seasoning especially is genuinely delicious. It's not too spicy either, so even people who can't handle spice like me can enjoy it just fine.

Fresh out of the fryer, warm, and with a crispy coating — while the inside stays soft and juicy, that's the charm. Eating it with the nutty mayo sauce that comes with it is a perfect match 🤍

The udon included in the set also has springy noodles. The udon broth has a rich flavor too, and with just the right portion, it's filling and nice to have in between bites of the rice bowl.
