## In short

Pork80 Jeju Airport Branch is a black pork barbecue restaurant near Jeju Airport in Jeju, Jeju. The writer booked a table via Naver Reservation, ordered Jeju pork raw ribs 600g for ₩56,000, mixed rice with mel jorim (anchovy braise), and added Korean beef yukhoe (raw beef tartare) on top. The smoke-extracting grill and staff grilling service made for a smoke-free, chatty meal — a solid pick for a first or last day in Jeju.

## A black pork spot near Jeju Airport, my local partner's go-to

Pork80, a delicious black pork restaurant near Jeju Airport, is in Jeju-si and even endorsed by Choi Ja. My partner is from Jeju, so we visit whenever we're in Jeju-si — we live near Seogwipo but make the trip all the way to Jeju-si just to eat here, haha.

The clean, spacious interior can easily fit groups. Even at an early dinner time around 5pm, the place was already packed.

Knowing it's always busy, I booked ahead through Naver Reservation. The table setup came out generously without any extra charge, which was another plus. There were plenty of staff and everyone was kind, so we ate in a good mood, haha.

## Menu and prices: raw ribs 600g for ₩56,000

Here's the menu and pricing at Pork80, the black pork restaurant near Jeju Airport. We ordered one plate of Jeju pork raw ribs — ₩56,000 for 600g (about one geun), enough to fill you up.

As you know, restaurants in Jeju's tourist areas tend to run pricey, which can feel like a burden. But Pork80 sits in a great spot near the airport, and with good meat quality and reasonable prices, my local partner comes here often too. The side dishes are varied too, which is a plus. We also added rice and later Korean beef yukhoe.

![A plate of the signature Nanchuk Matdon pork belly](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeju-airport-black-pork-ribs-beef-tartare/jeju-airport-black-pork-ribs-beef-tartare-09-2wg4b-900.webp)

Can you see the quality of the meat? This is Nanchuk Matdon, their signature menu, which most people order — it's the pork belly cut. The quality is amazing, isn't it?

Every table comes fully equipped with cups, utensils, wet wipes, and small plates, which was so convenient. I always feel bad asking busy staff for these little things, haha.

### Jeju raw pork ribs, also called bone-in samgyeop

This is the Jeju pork raw ribs at Pork80, the black pork restaurant near Jeju Airport. It's a cut called bone-in samgyeop, and the quality is really something, right? At 600g the portion is generous, and the mushrooms grilled alongside plus that scallion are the real highlight.

Pork80 also uses really good charcoal. The best part is the grill sucks smoke in from both sides, so you don't end up smelling like smoke or getting stinging eyes — you can eat cleanly.

## Staff grilling service

Pork80, the black pork restaurant near Jeju Airport, also offers a grilling service where staff cook for you. The heat is strong and the cut is fatty, so if we'd grilled it ourselves it probably wouldn't have turned out as delicious — having the staff grill it by hand was so convenient.

![Staff grilling service in action](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeju-airport-black-pork-ribs-beef-tartare/jeju-airport-black-pork-ribs-beef-tartare-14-1rkbi-900.webp)

![Mel jorim served mid-meal](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeju-airport-black-pork-ribs-beef-tartare/jeju-airport-black-pork-ribs-beef-tartare-15-2hfqt-900.webp)

The mel jorim (anchovy braise) that came out mid-meal. If you're in Jeju, you have to try black pork with mel jorim — it's a must. Even I, who can't handle fishy flavors, enjoy this mel jorim. It's not fishy at all and pairs really well with black pork.

They really infused it with that smoky charcoal flavor. In between, the heat flared up strongly, but they professionally sprayed water and kept grilling, haha. No smoke means no smell clinging to your clothes, and having someone else grill meant we could just chat while eating — so convenient.

### Matcha salt, grilled scallion with meljeot combo

They'd grill a piece and plate it for us, recommending combos for the best flavor. The first bite with matcha salt was surprisingly not bitter at all — clean and light! The fatty black pork ribs just melted in the mouth. But dipping grilled scallion deep into meljeot (fermented anchovy sauce) is the best combo. This was my favorite — I was genuinely amazed, haha.

![Black pork topped with pickled perilla leaf and wasabi](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeju-airport-black-pork-ribs-beef-tartare/jeju-airport-black-pork-ribs-beef-tartare-20-12c4m-900.webp)

No question, my favorite is the meljeot. Pork80's mel jorim is genuinely delicious — it's the kind of sauce you'd want to mix into rice. Topped with pickled perilla leaves and wasabi, it completely cuts through the richness.

With so many side dishes to enjoy in different ways, the meal was even better for it. I usually eat light, but I easily put away 600g. Pork80, the black pork restaurant near Jeju Airport, impresses me every single time.

## Mixing rice with mel jorim

Order rice and be sure to mix it with the mel jorim — it's not spicy at all. It beats a tasty stew, honestly. They gave us plenty of rice too, I nearly burst, haha.

## The Korean beef yukhoe we added

But I wanted to try the yukhoe (raw beef tartare) too, so we ordered it as an add-on. Even at a black pork restaurant, the yukhoe looked amazing!!

The seasoning was spot on, and since it wasn't frozen, it tasted great. Even though we were already full, we kept eating more — so good!! haha.

Pork80, the black pork restaurant near Jeju Airport, is close to the airport, offers parking support, and takes reservations — so book ahead and make sure to visit on the first day of your Jeju trip!
