Today, traveling the east side of the island, I stopped for dinner near Sehwa at Don Gueo. I tried the Jeju black pork set and the lineup was really solid — aged black pork belly, black pork kimchi jjigae, and rice, all for ₩22,000 per person. Don Gueo is at 38 Sepyeonghang-ro, 1st floor, Gujwa-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do, South Korea, open daily from 11:00 to 22:00. It's about a one-minute drive from Sehwa Beach and Sepyeonghang harbor, making it an easy stop while touring Jeju's east side. It's also close to the Haenyeo Museum, and works well as a meal stop when heading toward Bijarim Forest, Woljeong-ri, or Seongsan. We swung by while touring the east side ourselves. ^^ ### Parking at Don Gueo in Sehwa There's a dedicated lot between the restaurant and Seongeun Church, though the number of spots is limited — better suited for compact or small cars. We parked on the street instead. The staff mentioned by phone that parking in front of the shop or on nearby roads is also an option. Worth keeping in mind if you're driving around Sehwa. ## A certified Jeju pork restaurant open since 2014 Don Gueo is a family-run restaurant that opened in 2014. Sauces include ssamjang, salt, and garlic. It comes with black pork kimchi jjigae and rice as well. Grilling meat, then taking a bite of rice with hot kimchi jjigae — that's just perfect. haha Rather than just eating black pork on its own, having rice and stew alongside made it feel like a proper, filling meal. Looks great too, right, haha. The long-simmered kimchi jjigae is the best. Nothing finishes a meal like cool noodles! A clean, refreshing dessert option.
