## In short

Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch is a pork noodle soup (gogi guksu) restaurant on Beonyeong-ro in Jocheon-eup, Jeju City. On a second visit, a couple ordered gogi gukbap (pork soup with rice), conch bibim guksu and a half order of dombegogi (sliced boiled pork), and were impressed again by the private lot that holds more than 100 cars and the nine free convenience services. The warm soup with the tangy, spicy cold noodles made for a hearty Jeju meal.

One of the dishes I really wanted to try in Jeju was gogi-guksu (pork noodle soup). There are so many gogi-guksu places on the island that I had trouble deciding, but I ended up going back to Myeonjumak, a well-known Jeju gogi-guksu spot!

## How much parking does Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch have?

Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch is a gogi-guksu restaurant on Beonyeong-ro in Jocheon-eup, Jeju City, with a private lot that fits over 100 cars at once. I'd been here on a previous Jeju trip too — no other gogi-guksu place has quite matched it, so this was a repeat visit ⭐️ The first thing that struck me on arrival was just how huge the parking space was. A lot that fits 100+ cars simultaneously looked great for group visits too!!

Parking can be a low-key stress when you're driving a rental car around Jeju, so it was nice to pull in without any parking worries.

## Group seating and the dining room at Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch

Myeonjumak is a fairly large place too — apparently the group seating can hold up to 100 people! The spacing between tables was generous, so we could eat at a relaxed pace. It seemed like a good spot for families or a bigger group traveling around Jeju together.

## Three-dish order: gogi gukbap, conch bibim guksu and half dombegogi

We ordered three dishes — gogi-gukbap, bibim-guksu, and a half order of dombegogi. I wanted to try a bit of everything, and the combination turned out to be really good!!

![Table set while waiting for the order to arrive](https://img.superchart.com/images/myeonjumak-jeju-soraebibim-noodle-dombe/myeonjumak-jeju-soraebibim-noodle-dombe-07-11vfl-900.webp)

Myeonjumak is a noodle place, but apparently the owner used to work as a programmer in IT. They say the flavors are designed based on data, which somehow made me even more curious to try it!

On the table were seaweed flakes, salt, pepper, and chili powder, and the rest of the restaurant was kept neat and tidy too.

## Nine convenience services that make Myeonjumak easy with a baby

Myeonjumak also had a whole lineup of convenience services for guests. They offer radish tea, hair ties, disposable aprons, baby chairs, baby spoons, a microwave for baby food, phone chargers, stain remover, and disposable mouthwash — nine services in total. I noticed a lot of families with babies there in practice!! Such a thoughtful place, haha.

The banchan (side dishes) were kimchi and kkakdugi (diced radish kimchi), which pair well with the gogi-gukbap and noodles 👍🏻 You can grab extra from the self-serve corner!

Apparently the owner also holds a level-1 professional organizing certification, and I could tell — the whole place felt very well kept!

There was even a write-up on the origins of gogi-guksu, which my husband and I read while waiting for our order — knowing the backstory made it taste even better and more fun 👍🏻

## How is the broth seasoned in Myeonjumak's gogi gukbap?

The broth in Myeonjumak's gogi-gukbap was seasoned just right, so we ate it without adding anything extra. The warm broth with the pork made for a filling, satisfying dish.

### What conch bibim guksu tastes like

The conch bibim-guksu's tangy-spicy sauce was the highlight, with springy noodles and a generous pile of vegetables — vegetable lovers, rejoice, haha. Switching between the warm gukbap and the cold bibim-guksu kept me going back for more.

### Is a half order of dombegogi enough for two?

And since we were in Jeju, dombegogi was a must, so we ordered a half portion!

![A half order of dombegogi on a plate](https://img.superchart.com/images/myeonjumak-jeju-soraebibim-noodle-dombe/myeonjumak-jeju-soraebibim-noodle-dombe-17-10bdx-900.webp)

Dombegogi is a Jeju local dish of boiled pork sliced on a wooden cutting board — it was clean-tasting while still letting the flavor of the meat itself come through!

If you want a hearty meal in Jeju or you're looking for a good gogi-guksu place, Myeonjumak is worth a visit!! It's a Jeju gogi-guksu spot I'd love to bring my parents to next time.
