Before heading out, we wanted one more look at Jeju's emerald sea, so we headed to Gwakji Beach, known for its especially pretty water color. As lunchtime rolled around, my daughter's stomach clock rang right on schedule! She's been eating a lot more lately, probably a growth spurt~ She's a total noodle killer — ramyeon, guksu, udon, she's always in! Since we were already headed to Gwakji Beach, I searched for a pork noodle restaurant in Aewol. We ended up at Handam Guksu Aewol Branch. My first-ever pork noodles turned out clean and mild in flavor. My daughter, who's used to seasoned or grilled pork, said the meat tasted a little unfamiliar, but to me it had no odor at all and tasted refreshingly plain.
