From the entrance, I already felt like I'd stepped into Thailand — the local vibe got me excited before I even opened the door. So pretty~" The yellow-and-blue combo grabs your eye right away, with green added through lighting and props, and red woven in through cushions and the like — it was just so, so pretty. Thanks to the interior's strong Thai local feel, I really got to enjoy a distinctive atmosphere. Colorful cushions and traditional props are placed around, so it's impossible not to take photos there. Around the ceiling lights, lush green plants drape leaves as if embracing the light, giving off a real resort feel. Gold-toned decorations with the number 55 add a nice finishing touch to the careful interior design. ### The simple salad bar and Thanon55's second entrance The simple salad bar has bowls, forks, pickled radish, and shredded radish. There's also a door next to the salad bar, and going through it I found another entrance — this one leads toward the shopping mall. The flower beds were pretty and so was the lighting. There's crunchy pickled radish and radish salad, plus tangy, spicy peppers you can scoop out yourself from the jar with a spoon attached inside the lid. The pad thai, loaded with big shrimp, had great texture from crunchy bean sprouts, soft egg, pad thai noodles, and nutty peanut powder. There's a bit of chili powder(?) on the side you can mix in as much as you like. It was also fun hunting for the little shrimp tucked in between bites.
