When you're traveling around Jeju, there are days when you finish dinner late and just don't feel like heading straight back to your accommodation. That's exactly how I felt that night — I'd already had coffee, so what I really wanted was a cup of tea to finish off the meal. Searching for a café near Jeju Airport, I came across Dobana (도바나). Following the navigation there, I honestly thought, "Is there really a café out here?" But when I arrived, the space turned out to be much bigger and more atmospheric than I expected — a nice surprise.

The bread selection wasn't as big as during the day, but I picked a croissant and a mocha salt bread — both favorites of my kid — and ordered a hot chocolate too. If you're looking for a café to stop by after dinner near Jeju Airport, the location is pretty convenient.

## The interior was way bigger than I expected

The first thing I noticed walking in was, "Wow, this is really spacious." Rather than just being a big café with lots of tables, the space was divided into different zones with different moods, which made it fun to explore.

There wasn't an exhibition running when I visited, but there was a gallery-styled area, and one section had books set out, so after ordering I could sit and read to my kid. It was quiet since it was late in the evening, and sitting there with my child, it felt less like a touristy café and more like a spot to just take a breather.

What surprised me was the meeting room. When I visited, two groups were actually using it, seemingly meeting with outside guests. One group was even speaking in English. When you're meeting someone from outside, the atmosphere of the place matters more than you'd think.

Compared to a noisy café, meeting in a separate space like this seemed like it would make conversation much easier. There's also a private space for groups of five or more called "Dobana's Garden," which seemed like a good option for family gatherings or small group meetups too.

## What tea did I pick for a cup in Jeju?

The main reason I stopped by Dobana that day was the tea. After dinner, coffee felt like too much, and I wanted something caffeine-free. I asked the staff to recommend a caffeine-free tea, and they pointed out about three blended teas right next to the counter.

Since I love peppermint, I picked the one called Dawn Light Aroma (새벽빛 향기), and my husband ordered oolong tea. The tea selection was more varied than I expected, so it was fun to browse slowly — choosing a tea felt more leisurely than just grabbing a drink.
