When traveling in Jeju, gogiguksu (pork noodle soup) is a must-try dish!! Today I'm introducing a pork noodle spot near Eco Land and Jeju Stone Park in Jeju City. If you want to taste 100% Jeju black pork made with care, pay attention!

⏰Hours: 09:00–15:00, last order 14:30
🚘Parking available (free)
✅Naver reservations available (menu can be pre-ordered too)

The parking lot is huge, so there's plenty of room. It's also near Eco Land and Jeju Stone Park, hot spots in Jeju City, so it's easy to fit into your itinerary. I had it for breakfast on the day I went to Jeju Stone Park. Since the shop closes early, it's better to go for brunch.

The interior is spacious and pleasant. It can even seat groups, so I'd recommend it for gatherings too. The owner is friendly and smiles a lot, which made me happy!!

## Myeonjumak menu: baby noodles, rice soup, porridge and dombegogi

![Myeonjumak dombegogi menu board](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeju-myeonjumak-dolhareubang-park-breakfast-noodles/jeju-myeonjumak-dolhareubang-park-breakfast-noodles-06-11cvy-740.webp)

There's everything from baby noodles for kids to various types of noodle dishes. Soup, porridge, dombegogi and more — the menu itself has a wide range of choices!

I ordered dombegogi + gogiguksu + bibim guksu. The lettuce wraps and side dishes come out neatly arranged.

![Kimchi and peppers taken from the self-serve bar](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeju-myeonjumak-dolhareubang-park-breakfast-noodles/jeju-myeonjumak-dolhareubang-park-breakfast-noodles-10-n3foi-740.webp)

## What is on the self-serve bar, including unlimited jarijeot

At Myeonjumak's self-serve bar, you can refill all the side dishes endlessly. The peppers were crunchy and the kimchi was delicious, so I kept refilling. It went perfectly with the gogiguksu ❤️

The jarijeot (fermented damselfish) in particular went so well with the dombegogi that I wanted to pack some to take back to the mainland!

## Dombegogi made with 100% Jeju black pork

Myeonjumak uses freshly butchered 100% Jeju black pork! Why is black pork good? For one, black pork has a much higher ratio of unsaturated fatty acids than white pork. It also takes longer to raise, and only 1–2% of all farms raise black pig, so it's naturally more expensive, right? Even so, at Myeonjumak I could enjoy it relatively cheaply.

## Bibim guksu or gogiguksu: which was better at Myeonjumak?

My favorite was the bibim guksu! After eating so much gogiguksu, the spicy-sweet flavor was more appealing. It's clean tasting too, and 'this is really delicious' just slips out! The variety of vegetables also gave a good balance of carbs, protein, and fat, so it felt healthy too!?

The gogiguksu had a milky, mild broth that I think would suit older folks' tastes well too! The pork pieces were big and fresh, so I slurped it right up.

![Gogiguksu seasoned with chili flakes and pepper](https://img.superchart.com/images/jeju-myeonjumak-dolhareubang-park-breakfast-noodles/jeju-myeonjumak-dolhareubang-park-breakfast-noodles-15-19qxz-740.webp)

You can also adjust the seasoning with chili flakes, pepper, salt, and gim (dried seaweed), which makes it even tastier. What I found most thoughtful!! They have all the courtesy items — hair ties, disposable mouthwash, a phone charging corner, stain remover, you name it.

## Radish tea served instead of water

Are there any plain water haters out there, by chance?
.
.
.
Yes, that's me.

Here, even the water isn't just plain water but radish tea, and I fell for it even more!! Radish tea tastes as mild as barley tea, but it's also good for your health!? I'm thinking of buying some on Coupang haha

> <Benefits of radish tea> Improved digestion / Weight loss, detox / Immune boost / Anti-cancer effects / Blood pressure regulation / Cardiovascular health

Myeonjumak is recognized as a Jeju Safe Restaurant and an Excellent Tourist Restaurant, so you can trust the hygiene while eating.

## The souvenir shop next to Myeonjumak: window-shopping only

After eating, there's a souvenir shop right next door, so try some window-shopping to help digest!! I even bought a camellia hairpin. But unfortunately... it wasn't cheaper than elsewhere (I already bought it, but...). If you're not in a rush, I'd recommend just window-shopping.
