Hi, it's Juya^^ I was trying to figure out where to take the family for dinner, and there was this place I'd been curious about every time I passed by!! It hasn't been open long. Let me introduce it!!

## Inside Jipsi: seating and room for group dinners

The inside of Jipsi is clean and fairly spacious, with everything from 4-person tables to group tables, so it seems perfect for family gatherings or company dinners!! The spacing between tables was comfortable too, and since there were no hoods over each table, it somehow felt even cleaner~~

This is the mukbap (acorn jelly salad) that comes complimentary — the portion was surprisingly generous, with a good balance of jelly, kimchi, and cucumber. Getting it before the meal was such a nice touch, and it was cool and delicious~~

Bean sprouts, bracken fern, and kimchi were given to us to grill on the pan along with the meat~~

And the steamed egg is actually one of the basic sides too!! It was seasoned just right and so delicious hahahaha

## How many servings of fresh pork belly do you have to order?

We first ordered 3 servings of fresh pork belly — just a heads up that the first order has to be at least 3 servings!!

Hehehehehe that sizzle sound is no joke! Everyone was hungry!!! As soon as the meat hit the pan, our stomachs were growling nonstop ㅠ_ㅠ We just sat there staring, willing the meat to cook faster hahaha

The bibimbap with mini doenjang jjigae — the jjigae had soft tofu diced in and it was delicious, and I added a bit of the jjigae broth to the bibimbap and shook it up before mixing, which was great!

Ahh, as someone who loves Korean food, the bibimbap was just too good ㅠ_ㅠ I ate it with the namul (seasoned vegetables) too, yum

And I really do love the green onion kimchi!!! The combo of onion jaeraegi and green onion kimchi is a can't-go-wrong pairing, everyone should try it haha

Once the meat was fully cooked, I kept piling lettuce wraps with onion jaeraegi, green onion kimchi, kimchi, and water kimchi and eating them one after another — they went straight into my mouth in no time hahaha

## Finishing with bibim naengmyeon and jjondeugi

We debated what to have for dessert and ordered bibim naengmyeon! It was a bit too sweet for my taste, so it wasn't quite my thing, but my husband said it worked for him — just personal preference haha

After that, the owner gave the kids some jjondeugi (honeycomb toffee snack) to eat... but the kids were too full, so we lightly grilled a piece each on the pan~~

Do I even need to say how it tasted — jjondeugi is always good!!! You can order it for ₩1,000, so if you want some, order quickly!!!!

The salted shrimp sauce (myeoljeot) is homemade, so it has no fishy smell and is great for dipping, easy for kids to eat too! The meat and side dishes are such great value, and the pork belly was really delicious. I'd recommend Jipsi in Sangmo-dong, Gumi for group or family gatherings — it's the kind of pork belly restaurant in Gumi I'd love to go back to again and again!!
