First, the jjajangmyeon came with a generous amount of black bean sauce over the noodles, great for mixing. The sauce was rich and savory, so you could really taste that distinct jjajang flavor with the noodles. The jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) caught my eye with its broth first — loaded with various seafood and vegetables, plus a reasonable amount of pork. We ordered the basic spice level, but you can also adjust the heat when ordering. It tasted a bit like Shin Ramyun. I'm not great with spicy food so I went basic, but it was just spicy enough to feel right. If you like spicy food, the Shin Ramyun-level heat here would probably work too. My pick, Jjeolriya's favorite 🩷, was the daepyo jijon jjamppong! I'm a broth person anyway, and I really love rice, so today, since we'd worked out so much — bring on the refined carbs! This is such a great place because you can grab as much rice as you want without feeling self-conscious. Mixing the rice into the broth and sharing it was genuinely delicious — we were stuffed. ### Glutinous sweet and sour pork: one for the sauce-poured-over crowd We also ordered sweet and sour pork that day! Made with glutinous rice batter, the coating fried up crispy on the outside, and the meat was nice and thick, not thin at all — really delicious. It came with a sweet and tangy sauce poured over it, and it was fantastic. Beyond the usual Chinese restaurant sides like danmuji (pickled radish) and onion, the tableware you'd need was also neatly laid out. There was also a coffee corner set up on one side.
