Usually at Chinese restaurants, the onions and chunjang (black bean paste) are pre-made and brought straight to you, right? I always felt a little uneasy eating chunjang that's been scooped out ahead of time and kept in the fridge, so I normally avoid it, ㅠ but here they use single-use chunjang packets and let you help yourself to onions and danmuji too, so it felt like hygiene was genuinely well managed here. We visited as two people and ordered Dragon Set 2 plus 2 pieces of fried king mandu from the review event! Dragon Set 2 comes with a mountain of seafood stir-fried jjajang and mini tangsuyuk with garlic butter. Before visiting Lala Dragon, I looked up some reviews, and everyone was raving about how amazing the garlic butter tangsuyuk was~! So I didn't hesitate and went straight for the garlic butter tangsuyuk. I was curious whether it could hold up against Mokhwa Restaurant in Asan. As expected, turnover is everything at a Chinese restaurant! The food came out not long after we ordered! I was really surprised by how much food there was, and it lived up to its name — a mountain of seafood jjajang loaded with seafood — which made my mouth water. There was so much seafood in the mountain seafood jjajang that even after eating and eating with the noodles, the portion just didn't seem to go down..? It had a slight spiciness, but mild enough that even people who can't handle spicy food could eat it. The seafood had a smoky char to it, so I really tasted proper Chinese food flavor the whole time I ate. After the jjajangmyeon, I had the garlic butter tangsuyuk as a side, and it was perfect tangsuyuk — the harmony between the sauce and onions, and not a hint of gamey meat smell. If Mokhwa Restaurant's tangsuyuk in Asan is the true. classic tangsuyuk, then Lala Dragon's garlic butter tangsuyuk hits you with a strong garlic butter aroma the moment you take a bite, and the crispy batter really got my appetite going. (How could it not be delicious?) Sprinkling plenty of red pepper flakes on the jjajangmyeon, alternating a bite of jjajangmyeon with a bite of tangsuyuk — before we knew it, everything was gone! We finished everything, no leftovers at all.. Since we usually eat only Korean food for dinner, eating at a Chinese restaurant left us feeling really full. ## The verdict on Lala Dragon Cheonan Ssangyong Branch > ⭐️One-line verdict⭐️ I was wondering where to find good food in Cheonan Ssangyong-dong, and that's how I found out about Lala Dragon among the Chinese restaurants. It's a franchise, but the Ssangyong branch is genuinely delicious, no complaints. Two hours of free parking means no parking worries, and the turnover is fast!
